"La Cicala" vacation home, cozy apartment, located on the ground floor of a two-family building in a small country village 10 minutes from the town of Pontremoli. Together with the contemporary style, it intersects with the old, in fact you are in a recent building but equipped with antique furniture that we have adapted and restored. One of the important features is the light, the house is located in a sunny position and equipped with large windows that make the rooms very bright. The space Apartment consisting of a kitchen, large living room, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one with shower and one with bathtub), utility room. Very spacious fully fenced garden, with barbecue and deck chairs. Large patio located in front of the kitchen and living room, covered by an awning that allows you to eat outdoors. One bedroom consists of two single beds, a desk and a wardrobe, while the other two have 1 wardrobe and French double beds (140x190), so slightly smaller than the classic double bed. Despite the slightly reduced size, we decided not to replace them, mainly for an emotional bond and then because they are antique beds that we have carefully recovered and revived. We can define it as "tranquility at your fingertips," because you are in a village where serenity reigns, where you can walk in the midst of nature but at the same time in just 10 minutes you can reach the town of Pontremoli which is about 6 km from us, with its beautiful historic center, shops, supermarkets and train station. Just 3 km away is the highway exit that opens the doors to the beautiful landscapes of Tuscany, Liguria with the magnificent 5 Terre and the sea, reachable in just half an hour. Guest access The apartment can be accessed directly from the street, passing a small gate that gives you direct access to the garden, or from the reserved parking space, which can be reached via a secondary road. The only stairs (external) are those that connect the parking space to the apartment. For those traveling by bike or motorbike, there is a dedicated covered space. Other things to note For stays longer than 3 days, we may need to access the garden to water or cut grass, all to be agreed with guests so as not to disturb them. We have three cats who love to enjoy the freedom of the countryside, so they may occasionally walk in the apartment's garden. The tourist tax established by the Municipality is €1.00 per day per person (minors up to 16 years old exempt), with a maximum of €5.00 per person, not included in the Airbnb fee, but must be paid at the end of the stay directly to us.
