Surrounded by cedar and pine trees, our nature haven has a beautiful river and forest views. As you arrive, you’re greeted by large tree Carvings (Tamtams) from the South Pacific. Our large deck with fire pit is ideal for meals and a morning coffee watching and listening to the woodpeckers, loons and eagles. A highlight is the forest outdoor bath and shower. Whimsical bridges and a dock highlight the river, creek and ponds that house this nature retreat. The space The house was built in the late 80s for Janwillem van de Wetering a famous Dutch writer. We have made many upgrades recently that make the home really comfortable including a new bathroom and outdoor bath/shower. Other things to note Please note the guest limit is 4 - If you arrive with more than 4 people you will be charged an extra fee for each guest If your arriving with a EV then please bring your own charging cable. We have a charging pedestal, that has a standard 110v power point, 30Amp camper plug and a 50Amp 220V plug type 14-50R. Pick up a copy of one of Janwillem van_ de Weterings books to read where he wrote. You can enjoy the dock and trails around the property just ask and we’re happy to give you a tour.
