Interbelic chic apartment- Colonial

Casa Coloniale proposes a ”time travel experience” by living temporarily in the apartment on the first floor of the house, in which the early 20th century atmosphere is recreated in the bedrooms. The structure of the house and the living style have not been modified, as many original elements as possible have been preserved, all enhanced by a set design of lights and furniture. The space The apartment has two double bedrooms with a door in between, a separate one person bedroom, all 3 rooms connected on a long, windowed traditional hallway/ balcony, with acces to the bathroom that contains the original and functional bathtub. The balcony also has a few seats where you can enjoy the sunset. The rooms are decorated with vintage authentic old furniture, restored or in good shape. Each room has extra chairs and armchairs for relaxing and enjoying a book or some meditation time. There are also some books available. The bed linen is custom made with matching design. Guest access The apartment has a private entrance next to the Cafe Coloniale main entrance, where there is a staircase going upstairs. The apartment contain a full private space with the two double bedrooms, one single bedroom, hallway and bathroom. Other things to note *In the basement of the building there is Cafe Coloniale that is open daily 9-17 and where we can offer you, on request, a variety of cakes, drinks and coffee. The Cafe also has indoor and outdoor seats and can serve as working space, with wifi available. The Check in key can also be picked from there. For late check in hours, please send a message in advance. **The building is located at the intersection of two streets, some daily traffic can produce noise. Nights are usually calm and quiet, though dogs or roosters can be ocasionally heard. Even though intense cleaning is performed, keep in mind that living in the 19’th century had different cleaning standards than modern and shiny interiors. ***** There is no kitchen available but we can provide you with glasses, plates, cutlery, on demand. A small fridge is available just outside the first bedroom, in a crossing room.
