Lou's house with pool and hot tub

I fell in love with this little green setting a year and a half ago. I make every effort to make this place a welcoming, warm and friendly place so that in turn you fall in love at first sight! This haven of peace located in a small Catalan village will seduce you with its uniqueness and geographical location. 10 min drive to the first beaches, 15 min to the beautiful coves of Collioure, Port Vendre and Banyuls where you can taste beautiful sea bream! The space Very good location, between sea and mountain, this cottage gives you access to many hikes to discover exceptional views of our beautiful Mediterranean coast. Spain being 25 min by car, it would be a shame not to take the opportunity to enjoy a good paella!! Through the gate at the bottom of the garden, you can access a pretty river where you can cool off. The sound of the water will rock you during the nap in the hammocks installed in the shade of the micocouliers wood. Others can enjoy the various facilities offered on the gîte: the heated swimming pool (in mid-season, 22 euros per night optional on request) and its deckchairs, the SPA, the petanque court, darts, ping pong, puck games, with of course the equipment provided. By the pool, a dining area is arranged under a large pergola. Nearby we have created an "outdoor kitchen" space with a very large plancha, water point, dishwasher and kitchenware. In front of the bedrooms, a large terrace with garden furniture and outdoor bar will allow you to enjoy an aperitif under the lights in the spirit of a guinguette! Let's talk about the inside of the vacation rental: At the front door, on your right, there is an independent studio that consists of a 160/200 bed and a 160/200 pull-out bed, shower, and toilet. Upon entering the house, you directly access the living room with a lounge area with two comfortable leather sofas, a dining area with table, chairs, fireplace and large TV. Next to it we have a kitchen, not very large but well equipped with refrigerator, oven, toaster, blender, microwave... etc. We arrive in the hallway where there are two bedrooms with king size beds (180/200), a large closet each. Shared bathroom with shower and washing machine. The view from the 2 bedrooms and the dining room overlooks the pool and the river bank, which is very nice! We go to the lower level of the house. Taking a staircase on the side of the house, we access the two master bedrooms that are completely independent. The first (the blue room) consists of a king size bed, and a trundle bed (160/200), a large dressing room, a bathroom with shower, and toilet. The second consists of a king size bed, a 160/200 pull-out bed, a large dressing room, a bathroom with shower and toilet, and in addition a children's room with a pull-out bed (160/200). They both have views of the garden with swimming pool, river... You will also find inside the house a beautiful library with tons of novels to devour as well as board games. The entire gîte is rented. You will therefore have all the facilities for private use. Everything is in place to ensure you have a nice vacation in "the house of LOU", so don't hesitate!! Guest access Under the outside staircase on the kitchen side there is a cellar that is not accessible to guests. Under the pool, there is the technical room. It is forbidden to enter. The person who will take care of the maintenance of the pool and spa during your stay will take care of the maintenance of the facilities. At the bottom of the garden there is a hut that is closed and inaccessible to guests. Other things to note Antonia and her team are the people who will take care of you during the stay. They will contact you before check-in. Bed linen, towels, and cleaning are provided during your stay. The maintenance of the pool and SPA will be carried out twice a week by our pool attendant. House rules will be sent to you so that you can make the most of the facilities. The pool is fully fenced with approved gates and an approved alarm. The instructions for use will be explained to you and will be left available in a binder in the library with the rules of procedure. It is heated in mid-season. (not usable from November to March) No smoking inside the house which is equipped with fire alarm. Many rooms of the house are decorated with stretch ceilings, and canvases stretched on the wall. Please take care of them during your stay! Parts of the garden are covered with synthetic grass that doesn't like cigarette butts! For this reason, ashtrays are available everywhere.
