It is a quiet place to rest, work remotely, enjoy bird songs in the morning, and experience the slower rhythm of rural life. Villa Eliza is best suited for guests who value peace, nature, simplicity, and a respectful shared-home environment. Guest access Guests have access to their private room and shared common areas, including the kitchen, dining room, living room, bathrooms, and outdoor green spaces. Villa Eliza is a shared countryside home, so we ask guests to be respectful of common areas and clean up after themselves after use. During your stay We are available through the Airbnb app if guests need help before or during their stay. Dora, our housekeeper, will personally handle the keys and help with access to the property. We respect guests’ privacy, but we are happy to assist with any questions about the house, the area, or local recommendations. Other things to note Villa Eliza is located in a peaceful rural area between Pavas and La Playita, surrounded by nature and bird sounds throughout the morning and afternoon. Because this is a countryside home, guests may see insects such as mosquitoes, flies, spiders, beetles, or other small bugs. Please keep the window and door screens closed as much as possible. Pavas is about 5 minutes away, where guests can find local restaurants and fresh regional produce. La Cumbre is about 15 minutes away. Even though the days can be warm, evenings may feel cool and temperatures can drop to around 18°C, so we recommend bringing a light jacket. Public transportation may be limited after 6:00 PM. TransCalima buses usually do not go beyond Pavas Park after that time, so guests arriving late should arrange private transportation in advance. We can also help connect guests with local guides for biking, horseback riding, hiking, waterfall visits, sport fishing, or cultural visits nearby. These activities are paid directly by the guest.
