The space You will immediately be struck by the home's vaulted ceilings and open floor plan, which are ideal for entertaining and large family gatherings. The great room and first floor master both have easy access to the outdoor living space, which makes the home feel even more spacious. Relax in front of the fireplace and stunning river-rock hearth or soak up the sun on the large south-facing deck great for outdoor grilling and dining. Two guest rooms upstairs boast queen beds., with a bunk bed in one of them as well. The main floor primary bedroom has a king sized bed, with an ensuite bathroom including a jetted bathtub. A large walk-in closet can serve as sleeping quarters for an infant or toddler. Upstairs there are two bedrooms that share a bathroom right outside their doors. The loft has a queen-sized futon bed so the home comfortably sleeps eight. We also provide a crib and highchair as we welcome families with children. The kitchen features high-end appliances, granite counter tops, a center island with seating, and is fully stocked! The dining table seats 8 and is perfect for long, lingering meals. Our home is located in a uniquely special setting on one of the most desired streets in the entire Tahoe Donner community and overlooks the Tahoe Donner meadow, a 50+ acre wildlife habitat. It is the ideal setting for kids of all ages to explore the outdoors within sight of the house. In the winter you can even set out snowshoeing or cross-country skiing directly from the back yard! Guest access The home is a 10 minute walk to the Northwoods Clubhouse which includes a tennis complex, outdoor pool, playground, and kids rec center / pizza restaurant. Our home is near the entrance of Tahoe Donner and only 5 minutes from downtown shopping and restaurants, 10+ minutes to ski area resorts including Tahoe Donner, Sugar Bowl, Squaw, Alpine Meadows and Northstar at Tahoe. Other things to note In this new work-from-anywhere world, many have asked about our internet and phone access. We have significantly improved our connectivity in the past couple of years - now with 400Mbps cable broadband and a whole-home mesh Wi-Fi network. Our home also comes with an EV charger in the garage, as well as air conditioning… a very rare find in the area! Please note you will have access to the amenities that Tahoe Donner offers, through the guest passes that are provided. There are blackout dates that guests CANNOT use the amenities.
