Deer Lodge romantic country retreat with hot tub

Unwind in the tranquil setting of this romantic spot in nature. Deer Lodge is a beautiful, luxuriously equipped one bedroom converted stable with private hot tub. Set in 13 acres of private countryside and woodland it is a magical place. You can watch the deer from the hot tub, set at eye level to the land, with the chiminea glowing on the patio or star gaze at night. Within the grounds are fire pits, swings and a croquet area. A two minute walk leads to an excellent thatched pub/restaurant The space Deer lodge is an idyllic, peaceful retreat for couples. The lodge is equipped with king-size bed with high thread count linen, Egyptian cotton towels, bathrobes, slippers and spa towels. There is a large walk in shower, sink, wc, electric towel warmer and toiletries. The kitchen has a combination oven/grill/microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster,kettle,iron and coffee maker. In the lounge is a TV, record player, vinyls and Bluetooth speaker. The private outdoor area has a table and chairs, double lounger bed, chiminea and the private hot tub. As well as the 13 acres of private land to enjoy, there are adjacent footpaths leading to Nature reserves, and a short stroll along a track leads to The Stour Valley Way. The beautiful market town of Wimborne is just over a mile away with a vast array of restaurants, bars, cafes and independent shops. The lodge is close to many tourist attractions and perfect for bird watching, cycling, walking or visiting the beautiful beaches of Sandbanks, the stunning Jurassic Coast, Poole Quay andThe New Forest. Please note the extensive grounds are shared with the owners and our other lodge, Pheasant Lodge, but each lodge is secluded from the other and un-overlooked to respect guests’ privacy Guest access Guests can enjoy all 13 acres of our private countryside and woodland, relax in one of the numerous seating areas or enjoy a romantic evening, watching the sunset and the stars, at one of the fire pits. Maybe try a game of croquet or relax on the tree swing. If you wish you are also welcome to pet our two tame sheep. Grounds are shared with our other holiday rental lodge and ourselves but there is a private unoverlooked area around Deer Lodge. Other things to note Sorry no babies, children or pets We change the hot tub water for every guest so it may occasionally not be up to temperature by 4pm but will always be ready by 8pm the evening of arrival day. For full week bookings from April-October we can only accept Friday-Friday stays
