You will feel at home in our haven of peace and biodiversity, in the countryside and very close to the sea, 2 hours from Paris. Come and spend unique and simple moments at the same time, in all seasons: forest and seaside activities, unusual walks and restaurants that we will have recommended to you, more than 600 board games (ludogîte site), tasting of small dishes with vegetables and fruits from the garden, and cocooning well installed in our comfortable cottage. The space La Princesse au Petit Pois invites you to take a break in a fully renovated farm building from 1850, comfortable, bright and spacious, recently renovated and made of flint, sandstone, brick and slate. Between our home and La Princesse, we produce fruit and vegetables, aromatic herbs and edible flowers, with rainwater harvesting and solar panels. 2 km from the golf course, 9 km from the sea, the sand and the impressive white cliffs. Our gîte is part of a larger life project: to leave behind industry and the globalised flow of goods and to cultivate, on a plot of 8,700 m2, all the beauty and goodness that nature can offer, for the pleasure of the eyes and taste buds of our family and the food lovers in the surrounding area. My company Les Planches Gourmandes (Fb and Insta) produces and sells vegetables, fruit, edible flowers and aromatic herbs on site for the pleasure of its gourmet customers! If you want to enjoy varied and rejuvenating experiences while letting yourself be carried away, you've come to the right place. We love sharing the keys to the little pleasures that make life so beautiful! Being together, laughing, eating well, exercising or resting, in the great outdoors or in a comfortable armchair... everything is provided! I'll give you the addresses of our local producers. Yoghurts, cheeses, ice cream, beers, fish, scallops, oysters and more: you'll be spoilt for choice within a 10 km radius! I'll also share the secrets of our favourite walks to enjoy the scenery, and the list of outdoor activities is long, within a 15km radius: kayaking, sailing, golf, tree climbing, horse riding, hiking and cycling... The accommodation is laid out as follows: a large living room-lounge-kitchen bathed in light with openings onto the garden to the north and a terrace to the south; 3 areas allow you to sit in a convivial way: around the dining table, around the bar with its high stools, and around the lounge coffee table in the armchairs. Three large attic bedrooms upstairs and one on the ground floor with a terrace to the east. Each bedroom has two single beds or a double bed (king size) that can be adjusted according to your needs (please specify when booking). Two of the upstairs bedrooms have a washbasin and are so spacious that we can easily add mattresses for additional children at your request, which can be slipped under the beds during the day. A comfortable sofa bed for 2 people is available in the living room; You will also find two bathrooms with a shower and washbasin, one upstairs with a toilet, the other on the ground floor (separate toilet); Children's furniture, toys, games and books are available in a child-friendly space upstairs. If you like, you can also settle in the more spacious bedrooms to play (or read... or work!), thereby isolating yourself from the people in the living room. It's the holidays, so we're making your life easier!: You will find all the little necessities for your daily life (soap at the sinks, toilet paper, sponges, washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea towels and dishcloths (let's limit the use of paper towels!), olive oil, salt and sugar, coffee and tea, Senseo coffee machine and filter coffee machine, etc.) The price: The price decreases according to the length of the stay, and charges including heating are included. The photovoltaic panels installed on the south-facing roof provide us with green energy, and your small daily actions will help reduce energy consumption for the good of all. Are you staying with us for 1 night and would like to extend the hours of your stay? Ask me, and we'll see what we can do depending on the constraints at the time. Linen and cleaning: Rainwater is collected, especially for watering crops, but water remains a resource to be conserved, and the planet will thank you if you bring your own sheets, especially for short stays! Of course, if you wish and you let us know 1 week in advance, the beds will be made for €13/bed (which is still less than the price of a laundry service). Likewise, the planet will be delighted if you bring your own towels, but we will provide them if necessary for €3/person. Forgotten your beach towels? We can provide them for €3/person too.
