You will feel at home in our haven of peace and biodiversity, in the countryside and very close to the sea, 2 hours from Paris. Come and spend unique and simple moments at the same time, in all seasons: forest and seaside activities, unusual walks and restaurants that we will have recommended to you, more than 600 board games (ludogîte site), tasting of small dishes with vegetables and fruits from the garden, and cocooning well installed in our comfortable cottage. The space La Princesse au Petit Pois invites you to take a break in a fully renovated, comfortable, bright and spacious 1850 farm building, recently renovated and made of flint, sandstone, brick and slate. Between our home and the Princess's, we produce fruits and vegetables, herbs and edible flowers, with rainwater recovery and solar panels. 2 km from the golf course, 9 km from the sea, sand and impressive white cliffs. Our cottage is part of a more global life project: leaving industry and the flow of globalized goods and cultivating on a plot of 8700 m2 what nature can offer that is beautiful and good for the pleasure of the eyes and taste buds of our family and foodies in the area. My company Les Planches Gourmandes (Fb and Insta) produces and markets on site vegetables, fruits, edible flowers and aromatic herbs for the pleasure of its gourmet customers! If you want to have varied and rejuvenating experiences, while letting yourself go, you are at the right address. We love to share the keys to the little pleasures that make life so beautiful!... being together, laughing, eating well, working out or resting, in the great outdoors or in a good chair... everything is planned! I will also give you the secrets of our favorite walks to enjoy the landscapes and the list of outdoor activities is long, within 15 km: kayaking, sailing, golf, tree climbing, horseback riding, hiking and biking… The place is organized as follows: a large living room-kitchen bathed in light with its openings onto the garden to the north and a terrace to the south; 3 spaces allow you to sit in a friendly way: around the dining table, around the bar with its high stools and around the living room coffee table in the armchairs. three large attic bedrooms upstairs and one on the ground floor with terrace to the east. Each bedroom is equipped with two single beds or a double bed (king size) that can be adjusted according to your needs (to be specified at the time of booking). 2 of the upstairs bedrooms have a sink and they are so spacious that you can easily add mattresses for additional children, which can be slipped under the beds during the day. A comfortable sofa bed is available in the living room for 2 people; you will also find two bathrooms with shower and sink, one upstairs with toilet, the other on the ground floor (separate toilet); children's furniture, toys, games and books available in a child-friendly space upstairs. Depending on your preference, you can also settle into the most spacious rooms to play (or read... or work!) by isolating yourself from the people who are in the living room. It's vacation time, we make your life easier!: you will find all the little necessities for your daily life (soap in the sinks, toilet paper, sponges, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea towels and dishcloths (let's limit the paper towels!), olive oil, salt and sugar, coffee and tea, Senseo coffee maker and filter coffee maker...) The rate: the price decreases according to the length of stay, charges including heating are included. The photovoltaic panels installed on the south-facing roof provide us with green energy and your small daily actions will help reduce energy consumption for the good of all. Linens and cleaning: Rainwater is collected in particular for watering crops, but water remains a commodity to be preserved and the planet will thank you if you bring your sheets, especially for short stays! Of course, if you wish and give us 1 week's notice, the beds will be made for €13/bed (which is still lower than the dry cleaning rate). Likewise, the planet will be delighted if you bring your towels, but we will provide them if needed for €3/person. Forgot beach towels? We can provide them for €3/person as well.
