You will feel at home in our haven of peace and biodiversity, in the countryside and very close to the sea, 2 hours from Paris. Come and spend unique and simple moments at the same time, in all seasons: forest and seaside activities, unusual walks and restaurants that we will have recommended to you, more than 600 board games (ludogîte site), tasting of small dishes with vegetables and fruits from the garden, and cocooning well installed in our comfortable cottage. The space La Princesse au Petit Pois invites you to take a break in a fully renovated farm building from 1850, comfortable, bright and spacious, recently renovated and made of flint, sandstone, brick and slate. Between our home and La Princesse, we produce fruits and vegetables, aromatic herbs, and edible flowers, using rainwater harvesting and solar panels. 2 km from the golf course, 9 km from the sea, sand and impressive white cliffs. Our cottage is part of a larger life project: to leave behind industry and the globalized flow of goods and to cultivate, on 8700 m2 of land, the beautiful and good things that nature can offer, for the pleasure of the eyes and taste buds of our family and the food lovers of the surrounding area. My company, Les Planches Gourmandes (FB and Insta), produces and sells vegetables, fruits, edible flowers, and aromatic herbs on-site for the pleasure of its gourmet customers! If you want to have varied and rejuvenating experiences while letting yourself be carried away, you are at the right address. We love to share the keys to the little pleasures that make life so beautiful!... being together, laughing, eating well, exercising or resting, in the great outdoors or in a comfortable armchair... everything is taken care of! I will give you the addresses of our local producers. Yogurts, cheeses, ice cream, beers, fish, scallops, oysters, and so on: you'll be able to feast within a 10-km radius! I will also share with you the secrets of our favorite walks to enjoy the scenery, and the list of outdoor activities is long within a 15 km radius: kayaking, sailing, golf, tree climbing, horseback riding, hiking and biking... The accommodation is organized as follows: a large living room-lounge-kitchen bathed in light with openings onto the garden to the north and a terrace to the south; 3 areas allow you to sit in a friendly way: around the dining table, around the bar with its high stools, and around the living room coffee table in the armchairs. Three large attic bedrooms upstairs and one on the ground floor with a terrace to the east. Each bedroom has two single beds or a double bed (king size) that can be adjusted according to your needs (to be specified at the time of booking). 2 of the bedrooms upstairs have a sink and are so spacious that we can easily add mattresses for additional children at your request, which can be slipped under the beds during the day. There is a comfortable sofa bed in the living room for 2 people; You will also find two bathrooms with shower and sink, one upstairs with toilet, the other on the ground floor (separate toilet); Children's furniture, toys, games and books are available in a child-friendly space upstairs. Depending on your mood, you can also settle into the more spacious rooms to play (or read... or work!), thus isolating yourself from the people in the living room. The price: The rate decreases depending on the length of stay, and charges including heating are included. The photovoltaic panels installed on the south-facing roof provide us with green energy, and your small daily actions will help reduce energy consumption for the good of all. Linens and housekeeping: Rainwater is collected, especially for watering crops, but water remains a resource to be conserved, and the planet will thank you if you bring your sheets, especially for short stays! Of course, if you wish and you notify us 1 week in advance, the beds will be made for €13/bed (which is still less than the price of a laundry service). Likewise, the planet will be delighted if you bring your towels, but we will provide them if needed for €3/person. Forgot your beach towels? We can provide you with some for €3/person as well.
