The space Villa Despacito is located in Los Almendros, Camuy (Yeguada) on a quiet dead-end road, offering a peaceful setting near the coast. The property sits on approximately 480 m2 of land and provides a relaxing outdoor space with a balcony and partial Atlantic Ocean views. Your booking includes the entire private property, giving your group full privacy throughout your stay. Guests love the location for its calm atmosphere, coastal breeze, and easy access to the ocean and sand for scenic walks and beach time. Guest access During your stay, you will have exclusive access to the entire property, including both the main house and the attached apartment. Villa Despacito is located just 300 feet (about a 2-minute walk) from the open ocean. Other things to note About Playa Los Almendros: Please note that Playa los Almendros is a well known surfing spot, but not a place to swim as it is open ocean and very very rocky. The nearest beach is about two miles away, called Peñón Amador (3 minutes drive). About the view: The house isn’t ocean front as there is a property in front of us. However, we are fortunate to have great partial ocean views. :) In regards to cable TV: No cable, however we have setup a Netflix account for our guests enjoyment. Wifi is available with two powerful routers (one in the house and one in the apartment) Important Disclaimer: Villa Despacito is in the north west area of Puerto Rico. While this provides incredible beauty and natural wonders, it also means that heat, humidity and sudden tropical storms are not uncommon. We strive for a calm, serene & relaxing environment; and most of the time it is just that. However, the tropical birds are very active as daylight breaks, and the waves can get loud at night. We are also in the middle of a small, but active surfing village. Sometimes the neighboring horses, roosters, dogs, coquis, etc., can be heard. For those guests who are extremely noise sensitive please keep these things in mind. Living in the country / beach side also means an abundance of horses, Iguanas, ants and ‘bugs’. None of which are dangerous. Surprisingly though mosquitoes are usually not an issue (but they do exist). That said, we do everything we can to ensure your stay is comfortable and pleasant.
