Bay Tree House is a spacious and comfortable holiday home with a contemporary feel, the perfect place to explore the beautiful Peak District! In a quiet, rural village, close to the Spa town of Buxton and its great selection of pubs, restaurants and independent shops. Perfectly located near many beauty spots including Chatsworth House, Mam Tor and the Monsal Trail (a fave with cyclists). Whether your stay is for a short break or a longer stay, holidaying with family, spending time with friends or a business trip; Bay Tree House is a stylish, well-equipped holiday home in a fantastic location. Sleeping 5, Bay Tree House has three comfortable bedrooms (two doubles and one single), a modern bathroom, en-suite to the master bedroom and a downstairs WC. The lounge/dining room has bi-fold doors opening on to the enclosed rear garden and patio. Garden furniture is provided to enjoy sitting outside during warm evenings. You can access the utility room direct from the driveway (perfect for muddy boots), and there is free, private parking for two cars. Bay Tree House is the ideal base from which to explore the beautiful Peak District and has all you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Many of our guests have returned to stay again and remark on the little details which make their stay so comfortable. All of the bedrooms are on the same level (first floor), the master bedroom and single bedroom are side by side, overlooking the garden. The second double bedroom is at the front of the house. Whilst the house doesn't have an open fire, it is toasty and warm, with central heating controls upstairs and down to suit your needs. Soft blankets are provided to cosy up with, if needed. We are close to the Spa town of Buxton, which has an array of restaurants and cafes, pubs and independent shops, as well as one of Britain's leading theatres; Buxton Opera House which also proudly hosts the International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival along with a full calendar of theatre shows throughout the year. The fabulous Monsal Trail is within easy reach and is very popular with visitors and locals alike. Bicycles can be stored in the shed at Bay Tree House in the Peaks, by request - just bring your own padlock. We are able to offer discounts to our guests visiting Matlock Farm Park, The Buxton Crescent Experience and Haddon Hall; full details are included in our guest information pack which is provided prior to arrival. Other things to note Peak Dale is a rural village and currently does not have a shop in the village itself. There are many shops in nearby Buxton and Chapel en le Frith, and the nearby supermarkets will deliver.
