Our comfortable accommodation has a living room/kitchenette with full-size sofa bed, bedroom with a double and single, and an ensuite with electric shower/toilet and wash basin. Located on the outskirts of the rural village of Kilcoo, we are a short 10-minute drive from Castlewellan Forest Park with it’s Mountain Bike trails , maze, kayaking on the lake, walks, castle and gardens. Newcastle and Murlough Nature Reserve are a 15 minute drive.Tollymore Park is 10 minutes drive . 15 mins to Spelga The space LIVING / BEDROOM 1: Living room with fold-out full-size double sofa bed, kitchenette, wardrobe, bedside unit, fold-out table and chairs and access to garden and patio areas with lough views. Is equipped with TV, fridge, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, coffee maker complimentary tea, coffee and milk and basics provided. Pantry items are provided. This room has a patio door and a window facing west from where guests can enjoy the evening sunsets. BEDROOM 2: Single bed and Double bed, built-in double wardrobe, fold-out table and chairs, bedside units, TV and Tea/Coffee making facilities BATHROOM Sink and vanity unit, toilet, electric shower, radiator with hot-towel rack. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided. Foot spa HALLWAY Storage/Full length mirror PATIO, GARDEN AND CAR PARK Paved patio surrounded by garden with outdoor seating overlooking hills and lough. Garden available for guests Guest access You will have access to the entire unit, which is joined on to our family home. You will have your own patio door to access the space which comprises a living room, bed room and bathroom. You will also have full use of the patio area and garden with stunning views of the beautiful Lough Island Reavy. Free parking. Host will aim to greet guests but if not key code will be available Other things to note The main attraction is the convenient access to the Mourne Mountains with their endless scenic walking paths and vistas which will not disappoint. We are located 10 minutes drive from Trassey car parks, Meelmore Lodge and Spelga Dam. We're also a 15 minute drive from Newcastle / Dundrum where visitors can enjoy the beaches and Murlough Nature Reserve. Guests can enjoy picnics and local walks at Lough Island Reavy is 10 minutes walk and which has beautiful views of Slieve Donard,Commedagh Bernagh and Meelmore .The local playground is also within 10 minutes walk.
