Exceptional family idyll in the countryside

Our weekend house offers plenty of space for two to three families, is fully equipped and promises relaxation and tranquility. It has 2 bedrooms (incl. baby bed), a large sleeping bunk and sofa bed in the living room. The large terrace has a large table and lounge furniture. Families & children will get their money's worth. Games for all ages, for indoors (board games, Lego, etc.) & outdoors (trampoline) are extensively available, a canoe can also be used. The space The Forsthaus was built in 1908 by the Prussian state. In the GDR, it housed three apartments with three bathrooms and a shared kitchen. After the reunification, the forester's house was acquired by a retired forester who had always dreamed of a forester's house. The man died early and from then on the widow lived here alone with many cats. After her death, we acquired the house in July 2018 and completely renovated it in 2018/19 (gas heating (with biogas), new radiators, new windows, new electrics, new plaster, new bathrooms and much more). The floor consists of the original planks from 1908, which we found under the broken GDR parquet and which could be removed. The house is nice and cool in the summer. In winter, it must be well heated so that it is cozy. The tiled stove, which is heated from the kitchen, also helps in particular. It is definitely advisable to bring warm socks or slippers. During the summer the garden is an absolute highlight. With 5,500 m² of space, it offers enough space to play soccer, volleyball or hide and seek. There is a large trampoline, a play corner between the trees as well as a large terrace with a large table with space for 12 people as well as a garden sofa. In the garage you will find games for the garden (badminton, darts, Viking chess) as well as two hammocks and various children's games. The house is supplied with renewable energy, the gas supply is provided by biogas. Guest access The entire house and garden are available for use. One room is not rented, this and a dressing room are labelled private and should not be used or entered by guests. The same applies to the attic. Other things to note Since we value sustainability, the house is supplied with green electricity and biogas. To avoid energy or excessive water consumption, it is possible to reduce cleaning costs during stays over the weekend by bringing your own bed linen and towels. If you bring both, we will waive the cleaning costs completely. If you do without one of the two, the fees will be halved.
