Teiana’s Retreat

This modern, fully self contained unit is an oasis of calm. It is located inland, away from the hustle and bustle, in a tropical garden setting with views towards the ocean. An easy 5 minute drive will take you to/from Rarotonga International Airport, Avarua township (shops, cafes, restaurants and market), and the popular “Black Rock” beach for swimming and amazing sunsets. The space Entrance to the unit is accessed via a private driveway and carport. The kitchen is fully equipped, giving you the option to prepare your own meals and “dine in” when you choose not to explore the many restaurants, bars and eateries Rarotonga has on offer. The lounge area provides the comfort of a large sofa which folds out to a double bed if you are travelling with a third person (at an extra cost of $20.00 per night). A smart TV is located in this living area for viewing of movies via your own hard drive on the occasional rainy days/nights. A ceiling fan provides good air flow throughout the kitchen/lounge area. Access to the deck is via the sliding doors from the lounge. Air conditioning is provided in the bedroom for your comfort, as well as a ceiling fan. The king size bed can be split into two single beds. The deck can also be accessed from the bedroom via screened sliding doors, providing additional air flow into the bedroom. A walk through wardrobe provides ample space for clothing and personal items and takes you from the bedroom through to the bathroom/shower/toilet area. Extra linen and towels are provided as well as an iron, ironing board and hairdryer. A washing machine and tub is also available in the unit, together with an outdoor clothes line. Complimentary tea/coffee/sugar/milk, bath soap and toilet paper are available on arrival. We have a WIFI router on site which provides internet access to the unit. You will need to purchase a pre paid WIFI voucher from Vodafone Cook Islands, located in Avarua. Vouchers are also available from various Vodafone outlets located around the island. Access to a landline phone in the unit allows you to make your own bookings for restaurants, cultural shows and other activities etc. A fully informative compendium of things to do and see while in Rarotonga, and the outer islands, is available for you to browse through upon your arrival. Guest access Upon arrival, you can easily navigate your way to the property if you a picking up a rental car from the airport. Alternatively you may wish to arrange an airconditioned bus transfer from the airport terminal. Further details for either option can be made available to you upon making contact with your host.
