Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Campsite at the vineyard (Campsite # 1) is strategically located away from the other sites on the property. It is located approximately 200 ft. from our cabin site and washroom location (porta potty) and has views of the farmers fields and driving lane around the property. The site is surrounded by corn and soybeans and is a beautiful spot for open sky stargazing or for seeing wildlife. It also comes w a picnic tbl and fire pit. The space This huge campsite is a new addition to the Hounds of Erie on-farm accommodation lineup. With minimal shade available, it is best for guests to bring tents or other shade type structures to provide some relief from the Sun. The site is equipped with a picnic table and fire pit and can easily accommodate a number of tents. The site is bordered by corn on one side and soybeans on two other sides and fronts onto our ring road that borders the property. There porta potty that services this site which is located approximately 200 ft away near our cabin site. Please take all your own garbage and recycling away with you. If garbage or recycling is left on the site, a $25 damage fee will be initiated with airbnb support to pay for the disposal of the garbage in the local landfill. Guest access Guest access to the site is by the second southerly black gate. Once through the gate, proceed forward until you are on the grass/gravel ring road and follow this road until you reach the site. Please make sure to close the gate behind you as there are dogs on the property and we do not want them to get out. If you are planning to bring a trailer or RV to the site, please contact us ahead of time for special instructions on how to access the site please take all your own garbage and recycling away with you. Other things to note There is a winery and winery retail store located on site which is open from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The vineyard and orchard are open to guest to walk around throughout the week. Firewood can be purchased on site. please bring cash. Quiet time starts at 11:00 p.m. and no music is permitted past that time. The ring road is used as a walking trail throughout the weekend and you may see winery guests walking their dogs. There's limited cell reception. use this time to unwind and disconnect. Please take all your own garbage and recycling away with you.
