Welcome to Newfoundland’s beautiful South West Coast! Rose Blanche – Harbour Le Cou is the last stop on Route 470, the end of the road, and it is certainly worth the drive. This Airbnb is great for a solo adventurer, couples, and families (including those with small children and pets). The space There are 2 bedrooms and 1 full size bath. Bedroom 1 has one double bed and Bedroom 2 has a double over double bunk. The kitchen and dining room are well-equipped with anything you may need throughout your stay, including a Keurig coffee maker. The living room has an electric fireplace and smart TV. A washer and dryer are available for use as well with detergent provided. We have added some puzzles, games and books to the library for those rainy Newfoundland days. In the bunk room you can also find a kid’s craft table and some activity books for entertainment. Wi-Fi is available but keep in mind the connection is slow. There is also a home phone in the kitchen with canada-wide calling. There is no cell service in Rose Blanche. Guest access Full access to the entire house. There is a designated parking space for guests. There currently is no wheelchair ramp, guests will need to climb 5-10 stairs to access the home. Some personal belongings are locked away. The double bunk bed top has a weight limit of 200 lbs. It is suitable for 1 adult or two kids, however the bottom can support two adults. We would allow this to accomodate 6 but we need to hear from you for safety reasons. Other things to note This home was built by my grandfather many, many years ago and it holds a special place in my heart. We brought the home back to life over the last couple of years and we look forward to welcoming guests who can enjoy the home and the wonderful community of Rose Blanche - Harbour Le Cou! The Area: There are many places to explore in the area. Some highly recommended sites include: Rose Blanche Lighthouse Historic Site Grub Box - Located at the Lighthouse “The Old Road” Hiking Trail Barachois Falls Hiking Trail Shed Pottery NL Pottery Lessons Hook and Line Interpretation Centre – Burnt Islands Harvey’s Trail – Isle Aux Morts Marine Excursions Tours Margaree Outfitters Tours You can also pass your time watching the boats come in and out of the harbour or trying your luck at fishing off the wharf!  The nearest store is 15 minutes away in the neighboring community of Burnt Islands, with everything else being available in Port Aux Basques. There is a gas station just before entering Rose Blanche.
