Spacious 1 bedroom bungalow, in a traditional Cornish house. The bungalow has plenty of indoor and outdoor space and good wifi for relaxing, working remotely or purely using as a base to explore. Location: 5 mins walk into Stratton historical village (2 pubs, one shop, church). 5 mins drive/25 mins walk into Bude town, beach and sea pool. 10-15 mins drive to 5 other beaches and beautiful coves, all known for their surf and great coastal paths. Morrisons, B+M and Lidl are a 10mins walk. The space The spacious bedroom has a king-size double bed and storage for belongings. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. The house is suited to two guests. There is additional mattresses/bedding for more people (please enquire). The living area has a TV, reclining sofas and an electric fireplace. The conservatory is an amazing room to relax, feel the sun or even do some yoga/workout. There is a fully functional and well-equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher and you can enjoy the Nespresso machine (please bring your own capsules). The garden gets the sun all day, including summer evenings and there is garden furniture and a small portable BBQ to use. I have tried to opt for eco-friendly and sustainable options where possible - the house has solar power, an eco kettle, recycling and repurposed furniture etc. There is plenty of off-road parking on the large driveway and gated front garden. Guest access Access to all areas - (there is an additional bedroom which will be locked. There is an out-house which will also be locked). Other things to note No washing machine available (laundrette in town). An additional desk and office chair can be provided upon request. The house is gated and set back from the road, with a very large driveway and front garden. Although it is located on the A39, the road is quiet at night and easy to pull off the drive.
