Guemes mountain bungalow - woods with THE view!

Stay for a few with only the best view! Visit Raven’s Roost on Guemes Island.. This funky house has recently been renovated and is furnished for all of your cozy desires with a wood fire sauna and private gym. Freshen up your senses and observe nature like you never have before, with stunning views of the SJI archipelago and the Olympic mountain range. We try to offer flexible check-in and check-out and minimize your extra fees by including standard cleaning. The space Fall in love with the Pacific Northwest and make some new acquaintances with our resident ravens. We offer well thought out work and lounge spaces and we landscaped with view glorification of the Salish Sea in mind. This place feels like an adult tree fort! In any sort of weather, you’ll find tranquility and privacy greet you at the gate. This small space is designed to function with a well stocked kitchen and bathing accoutrements you’ll need to maximize your getaway. The main floor has two covered porches so you can enjoy the outdoors even when it showers. The loft bedroom is the soft landing you’ll immediately snuggle up in. The wood fire sauna heats up efficiently and with seafaring charm to boot! The gym provides a row to the heavens and free weights for the basics with plenty of space for yoga and meditation in the hexagon shaped room. We also offer one full RV hook up site right next to the house, message us for details regarding occupancy and our fee for this optional service. Inspiration abounds in this lovely little nest with incredible views from many vantages on the property. Guest access Raven’s Roost includes two other buildings plus the main house. Said auxiliary buildings are the wood fire sauna and the hexagon gym. We ask that you only access these buildings on the designated pathways. There is a private grass yard available too, but keep in mind that the sprinklers are on timers and you shouldn’t leave your personal belongings out. Please feel free to walk or bike on the main road you drive in on, as there are a few public beach accesses within walking distance. Other things to note Please be aware that we are located on Guemes Island, accessed via the Guemes Island Ferry provided by Skagit County. We are not a destination on the Washington State Ferry servicing the San Jan Islands although we are nearby Anacortes. Our ferry is very reliable, but it should be noted that variables (weather, medical services runs, inspections, repairs, etc.) do exist and timing delays can occur. The access road to the property is a private road and is sometimes impacted by inclement weather. There are no grocery stores on Guemes Island. Island living has it’s own set of challenges but they are easily planned for. Please come prepared and informed - we are happy to help!
