To give our guests greater flexibility, we offer self check-in and self check-out, allowing you to arrive whenever it suits you after check-in time. Although you may have the opportunity to meet us during your stay, we are not always on site. We kindly ask all guests to be considerate of others, keep noise to a minimum after 10:00 PM, and treat the guesthouse with the same care and respect as you would your own home. During summer 2026, we're launching Grindavík Bike Rental, offering both bicycles and electric scooters to help you explore Grindavík and the beautiful Reykjanes Peninsula at your own pace.Later in the summer, we'll also open Borg Studio & Café, a cozy café where locals and travelers can meet over great coffee and homemade treats. You'll also have the opportunity to join creative workshops inspired by Icelandic design, craftsmanship, and local culture.Our goal is to make Grindavík Guesthouse more than just a place to sleep we want it to be a place where you can experience the town, meet local people, and create lasting memories during your visit to Iceland.
