Your accommodations are situated on the top floor, accessible by a flight of stairs—ideal for those who are fit and agile. The Bedroom: Your cozy bedroom is equipped with air conditioning you can control via a remote. If you prefer the natural mountain breeze, simply open the window to enjoy the cool evening air. The Optional Office: Located directly across from your bedroom, the office includes a spacious desk complete with a monitor, and office supplies such as stapler, tape, paperclips, and more. If you want to include the office in your stay, send us a request for a special offer and we will provide you with a quote. The office is open and available for our guests from 8 AM to 7 PM Monday through Saturday. The Bath: Your bathroom is exclusively yours, complete with a single sink, toilet, and tub with shower. The Kitchenette: Situated in the loft area overlooking the house’s great room, this space is perfect for whipping up simple meals or brewing a warm cup of herbal tea. The Deck: Feel free to venture downstairs to share our deck area. Surrounded by trees and blessed with dappled sunlight, it's the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee, delve into a good book, or simply engage in quiet contemplation. Parking: We provide a private parking space next to our home. If you need additional space, please let us know in advance so we can plan on providing what you need. Other things to note Animal Companions: We share our home with two wonderful rescue dogs. They are part of our family, and while one of them may be a bit shy and occasionally bark at new faces, they are both harmless. If you're an animal lover, you'll fit right in. If you're uncomfortable around dogs, this might not be the best fit for you. Sustainability: We're committed to eco-friendly practices like composting and recycling, and we invite our guests to participate in these efforts. Room for One, Cozy for Two: While our loft is quite accommodating for individual guests—even those over 6 feet—the slanted ceiling becomes more of a talking point when two people are sharing the space. If one of you is notably tall, you might find the room's unique architecture requires some agile maneuvering. We welcome up to two guests and aim to ensure everyone is comfortable, but it's good to be aware of these quirks to make the most out of your stay.
