In 1960, during the works to build a dam in the canyon, 6 different man-made tunnels with 6 different rooms and 1 large assembly area were opened for measurement and analysis. The project was abandoned because the natural structure of the canyon was not suitable. It is currently within our land boundaries. There is accommodation in the form of sleeping bags, tents, beds and hammocks. It is home to bats and the other side of the tunnel opens into the canyon, at the end of the cliff!
