Guest access Please check in at the main house. The host will meet you, show you around the indoor and outdoor access spaces, (pergola, screen house, fire pit, etc.) explain their use and direct you to the private parking area. Other things to note Guests and visitors agree to be considerate tenants and to take good care of the property and amenities during their stay. No smoking anywhere on our property. No littering, loud music or parties. Visitors are allowed with hosts advance notice. Pets are not allowed. Please let hosts know if any item breaks during use. We understand that accidents do happen. However, guests and visitors agree not to act in any way which would result in misuse of the property or amenities and cause a disturbance. Should any facilities, equipment, or inventory, be damaged willfully, as a result of inappropriate usage or behavior, or as a direct result of failing to respond to instructions from staff you will be held responsible for the cost of repair or replacement of that item. We cannot accept responsibility from any loss, damage, or expense arising from adverse weather conditions or any other event outside our control. Candles or open flame must not be used while using the yurt. Use of the wood burning fire pit is at the user’s own risk. We are happy to start a fire for you. If you wish to start your own, please be aware of the inherent risks. All fires must be completely doused after use. We provide water and a shovel to safely put out the fire. We accept no responsibility from any loss or injury arising from being in the campsite. By booking, and acknowledging these Terms and Conditions, you are aware of the risks, hazards, and dangers of personal injury. SAFETY Guests should be aware that the yurt and adjacent grounds are designed as adult, couples’ spaces with glass topped tables, lamps, glassware, and electrical cords and may not be suitable for children. If guests hope to bring children, please know that space is limited and we are unable to provide additional bedding/sleeping accommodations. Securely zip the screen and outer flaps of the yurt whenever you leave the site for long periods of time. Our property is a wooded site and, as such, there are natural hazards, such as rocks, tree roots, poisonous plants, and depending upon weather conditions, cold, wet and slippery surfaces. The grounds are lit from dusk til 11:00 p.m. each evening unless guests request otherwise. However, there is limited solar lighting after dark. Outdoor living can mean unpredictable weather. Whilst we supply both a heater and a fan to aid in your comfort, you are responsible for your own well being and comfort regarding appropriate clothing and footwear etc. the hosts cannot be held responsible for poor weather conditions during your stay.
