With its backyard opening onto the open ocean of the Northumberland Strait and sweeping water views that stretch to Nova Scotia and Ephraim Island, it offers a front-row seat to coastal beauty. Just steps away, the beach invites you to explore, with the tides, shells, and sea breeze shaping each visit. A true retreat into nature, this property is nestled among native trees, flowering shrubs, and protected lands. The setting is peaceful and vibrant with nature, home to a delightful array of birds and local wildlife. Each season brings its own quiet magic. At low tide, vast sandbars appear, allowing you to walk to nearby Ephraim Island. At high tide, the calm, swimmable waters can reach depths of 6 to 10 feet — perfect for floating, swimming, kayaking, or paddleboarding. The shoreline features a natural mix of sand, pebbles, rocks, shells, and seaweed, ideal for beachcombing or lazy wandering. A walking path also leads gently to the beach. Whether you’re sipping coffee from the dining room, relaxing on the sofa with a 55” Smart TV + Netflix and a propane fireplace, or preparing a meal in the fully equipped kitchen, the sea is always within sight. Kitchen: Gas stove, full cookware, dishes, and utensils Weber BBQ: Hooked up to central gas line Wi-Fi: Fast, reliable SpaceX Starlink internet for work or streaming Bedrooms & Comfort The chalet comfortably sleeps six guests in three well-appointed bedrooms: Upstairs Bedrooms (2): Queen beds, skylights for stargazing, white linens, and ceiling fans Main Floor Bedroom (1): Futon Double bed, Smart TV with Apple TV, ceiling fan Primary Bedroom also includes a TV and a private deck with seating, perfect for morning coffee or evening stargazing. Ceiling fans are also located in the dining and living room for your comfort. For Families & Kids Families are warmly welcomed. A variety of amenities are available to ensure a fun and stress-free stay: Extra linens, towels, and cleaning supplies Board games, books, yoga equipment, horseshoes, and toys Upon request before arrival: Infant high chair, pack 'n play crib, children’s dishes, toys, and books Note: Children must be supervised at all times. The Night Sky With minimal light pollution, the night sky here is extraordinary. Watch stars from the deck, lie back on the sandbars under the Milky Way, or enjoy moonrises shimmering on the water. It's a stargazer’s dream. Location Ideally situated for peace and exploration: 15 min to Confederation Bridge (PEI) 35 min to Amherst, Nova Scotia (shops, restaurants) 55 min to Moncton (airport, shops, restaurants) Grocery stores, gas stations, liquor stores, and local restaurants are within a 15–60 minute drive. Guest Access Guests have full access to the chalet, four decks and surrounding outdoor space. The basement is not accessible. Please respect property boundaries and do not enter neighboring lands. Note: There is a separate private rental next door that shares the beach stairs. Your space is completely private. Lawn maintenance, repairs, and pest control may occur during your stay. Guests are given advance notice whenever possible. There is potential for occasional noise. Guest access Guests have access to the entire chalet except the basement. In this beautiful country setting the cottage is surrounded by nature so you may see wildlife and insects. We keep the cottage very clean but you might hear the chirp of a cricket or find a moth fluttering near the porch light and an occassional appearance indoors.
