The Pond House is a 750 sq. ft house nestled on 100 acre horse ranch minutes from the Arkansas River. 1 Bedroom Queen bed with TV/Satellite. Loft with Queen bed plus TV/Satellite. Sleeps 4 guest. Spring fed pond for swimming with access to 2 paddle boards. Gold medal fishing just minutes away. Royal Gorge Bridge is down the road with zip lining, helicopter rides white water rafting, biking and hiking. The house backs up to 100,000 acres of Public land for hiking and exploring. Our property is unique because of the multitude of access and adventures at your fingertips. The Pond house is a 4 season home (accessible during winter). with a private driveway and views galore of Pikes Peak and surrounding mountains. We have ample parking for your RV if you are ready to get off the road. Access to public land (Bureau of Land Management) for hiking and old mines to explore if you are a "rock hound". Night sky star gazing is amazing. We do allow up to 2 pets. As long as they are well behaved. What might be a negative is our wifi. If you are looking for wifi and “being connected” to the internet “all the time” this might not be your place. The Pond House does have Wifi but it is dependent on weather and ect... We have satellite TV with over a hundred channels. You will have cell phone coverage unless your cell phone provider does not have ample coverage. Once you check in guest have access to The Pond house via a keypad so no need to worry about keys. Guest have access to the pond and dock. Horses are on property but fenced away from the house. Direct access to BLM (Bureau of Land Management) just behind the house. Once you check in and get your access codes you will have complete peace and quiet. We are on property and available in case you need anything. From Rafting, Kayaking, mountain climbing, Jeep tours, Fishing, Skiing our place offers you adventures at your fingertips. We are just a 10 minute drive to Canon City for restaurants and shopping. An hour and 45 minutes to Breckenridge. 2 Hours to Denver and 1 hour to Colorado Springs. You might see deer, coyotes, mountain lions, fox and maybe a bear or 2. Awesome bird watching too. Please note - while on property you probably won't see or hear "noise' other than nature. The Pond House does not have a stove. We do have a BBQ gas grill attached to the porch. Inside there is a small refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven (counter convection), electric tea kettle, drip coffee pot/filters and a hot plate. We have bbq utensils, silverware, plates/bowls and limited pots/pans. We provide linens and towels. We also provide you with paper towels/plates, trash bags and 2 rolls of toilet paper.
