Casa Selmo has everything you are looking for: a rural house in a secluded place in the mountains, with good access to the door and close to the main points of interest in Asturias. Xana is a very spacious room, very bright, facing south and east, with views of the valley and the forest and a beautiful balcony. Our rooms are decorated with care, with natural elements and colors in harmony with the environment. The space Xana is the largest room in the house. From its east-facing window the light of dawn enters the mountain and you have beautiful views of the valley. In addition, it has two large windows that give access to the balcony, facing south, from which you can see the Monte Areo forest. Xana is perfect for those looking for space, light and calm. It has a large double bed and also a single sofa bed, to accommodate a maximum of three guests. In addition, it has a complete private bathroom with a bathtub and access to all common areas (described below), with television in the room and free WiFi. A breakfast consisting of a hot drink and toast is included in the price. If you want, you can change your option to a higher breakfast upon arrival at the house or by indicating it to us when making the reservation. If you are bringing your pets, please also tell us when booking: the price of your stay will vary depending on their size and the length of your stay. Guest access In the common areas you can enjoy a spacious living room with a television, bookcase, board games and a work area. WiFi is free throughout the house. You will also have access to the kitchen, where you can prepare a snack, a nice dining room equipped with everything you need and we also have a refrigerator for shared use in the hall in case you need to store anything. Outside the house you can also, when the weather permits, have breakfast in the garden, relax in the hammock area or lie down on the grass to enjoy the sun with exceptional views of the valley. This century-old house is located in a privileged location: it is less than twenty minutes from Gijón, Avilés, Candás and Luanco, and very close to semi-wild and beautiful beaches such as Xivares, Antromero, Rebolleres or El Tranqueru. It is also ideal to be your headquarters if what you want is to get to know all of Asturias since, within a radius of less than an hour by car, you have the main tourist spots in both eastern and western Asturias, such as Ribadesella, Cangas de Onís, Oviedo, Infiesto, Villaviciosa, Luarca, Cudillero or Tazones. And, if what you are looking for is to disconnect from everything and rest without leaving the place, in the surroundings you will find routes and points of interest to get to know the area such as the 17th century hermitage of Nuestra Señora de los Remedios or the Dolmenes del Monte route. Areo, ideal for walking among nature and forgetting about the world. During your stay Irene will welcome you at the house. She'll be available to prepare breakfast, resolve any issues, or help with anything you need, from providing more towels to making local recommendations.
