Beautiful Log Cabin Hideaway in Yellowwood Forest

Our modern rustic home sits on ten acres of spectacular Brown County beauty surrounded by tall trees and rolling hills. Find some much-needed peace and quiet at our cabin, with the owners upstairs staying well out of your way. The pastoral setting always delights visitors with its natural ambiance, as well as being only minutes from both Brown County State Park as well as the quaint shops of Nashville. The space Built in 1995, this is not your average cozy cabin! Your homestay will be on the ground floor in a 3-room apartment, including a common seating area with kitchenette, 42” TV and four bunks; a beautiful bedroom with a queen sleigh bed; and a modern en suite bathroom with a roomy shower. Access to washer/dryer and a large refrigerator are right around the corner. The apartment is separated from the upper floors, where the owners live. We will ensure your privacy, but are happy to assist if needed. Guest access You’ll enter through your own coded-entry door, via a full-length covered porch overlooking a sweep of green lawn, a burbling brook and the majestic trees of Yellowwood State Forest. Enjoy it all with your morning coffee in our rustic rocking chairs! A quick FYI: the roads to our cabin are well kept dirt roads, but depending on weather the occasional pothole might be present. Other things to note Directly adjacent to beautiful Yellowwood State Park, with hiking trails and quick access to Yellowwood Lake (fishing; kayaking)-- It's truly an insider's gem. Only a short drive to either Bloomington's restaurants and entertainment or even closer to Nashville's charming boutiques.
