Unplug and let nature put you at rest. We are a completely “unplugged location”; no TV/Wi-Fi. Nature is our entertainment! Waking up on the west side of the lake you get to experience the magic of the sunlight bounce off the water into the trees and porch. Wildlife abounds and early risers may see Blue Herons fishing for breakfast on the point of the property. Bald eagle sightings are frequent as a nest is located across the lake on the north end of the island. The space Amazing water front access for all types of recreation. Minutes from I-65, a bait shop, farmer's stands and local barbecue joints, this one-level home has over 200 feet of Lake Mitchell waterfront. The property boasts a local honey-hole for fishing where the lake and creek converge. The creek leads to a small water fall for exploring and crawdad hunting. The large screened porch is the perfect spot for relaxing. The bunk room is a kid favorite for late night story-telling and giggles. An open floor plan lends itself to hours of cooking, dining, family games, and reading by the fire. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home and outdoor space except a small owners closet, storage shed, and owner's Tahoe ski boat. Other things to note Cell service is spotty depending on the carrier. There is NO wifi or television - this spot is for unplugging, enjoying nature and each other. The Nest a mile south to Lay Lake Dam across from Ware (airport) island. Water current changes based on rainfall and Alabama Power generators at Lay Dam. We have noodles, paddle board, kayak, and Old Towne canoe available with multiple adult and kids life jackets and paddles. Any other flotation devices, you should bring.
