The window wall of the living room is like a painting, changing the view depending time of the year. The furniture is high-quality Finnish and Scandinavian design, harmonized with the villa's warm, earthy tones inspired by the dark tones of fell nature. Sleep like in a top quality boutique hotel: The 3 bedrooms sleeps 6 persons and have hotel-level beds, duvets and pillows, with an Allergymarking® to suit even the most sensitive sleepers. Additional two persons can have a sleeping place in living room's sofa bed. There is plenty of closet space for clothes in the bedrooms and hallway. High quality and well equipped kitchen-dining area: The Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and dining for up to 10 people. Around the oak dining table, you'll find lamb fur-padded chairs for six people, and with two Aalto stools, there's seating for eight diners. In addition, the standard equipment includes small details such as designer wine glasses, serving dishes, candleholders, vases, and paper napkins to make your dining experience special. For outdoor adventures, there's a thermos, six cups from Lapland (kuksa), and a knife. The kitchen also includes 8 raclette pans. Highquality sauna & bathroom for relaxation In the sauna the heat-treated aspen in the paneling and benches creates a gentle atmosphere. Two rain showers allow several sauna users at the same time without a shower queue. Functionality and easiness The utility point in bathroom has a washing machine and a full-height drying cabinet for drying outdoor clothes / laundry. The apartment also has a separate toilet. Modern amenities: The cottage has a 5G connection, a 55 "smart TV and a bluetooth loud speaker. One of the bedrooms has a separate homeoffice space, so Villa Alveus is also great for remote working. Special features: + We offer our guests a basket of woolen socks from where they can borrow handmade pair during the stay. + The cabin's reindeer antler chandelier is a beautiful showcase of local artisan, providing soft and beautiful light in the living room. + In the warm storage, there are two sledges and a sleighs. Guests can leave the car at the cabin and take a trip to Äkäslompolo village by sledding. The journey is enjoyable downhill, and when returning, it's easy to pull the groceries uphill to the cabin with the sledge. Guest access In connection with the apartment, there is a 3m2 warm storage room, eg for ski maintenance and storage. Other things to note o Villa Alveus is allergy free, so pets and smoking are not allowed inside the villa. o In Finland people take off their shoes when entering the home. We appreciate if you do not wear shoes / ski boots inside the house. o The rental price includes the final cleaning, bedlinen and towels.
