QUIET AND GREEN, BUT ONLY A 15 MINUTES' WALK FROM THE OLD TOWN OF STERZING/VIPITENO Our "Panorama Suite" is a luxurious design apartment that combines modern furniture with traditional South Tyrolean style. You will love the parking space and the fact that everything is within walking distance: the old town, train station, swimming pool + spa as well as the most beautiful cycling, walking and hiking trails in the area. The best choice if you appreciate comfort, luxury and short distances ♛ The space Up to 6 people can stay in our "Panorama Suite", with a luxurious box spring double bed, two single beds and a sofa bed. From the spacious panoramic terrace you can look out to the fantastic mountains in our area. Through the panoramic floor-level windows you will feel really close to the alpine world. A spacious, beautiful and fully equipped kitchen will let you master all cooking challenges and it will be difficult not to cook for your loved ones :) You will find everything you need: *a fridge with a small freezer *an electric hotplate *water boiler *toaster *coffee maker with biodegradable tabs *dishwasher *cups and dishes *other kitchen utensils After a wonderful day in the nature, it's time for a shower. The natural care products you will find in the bathroom come from a small producer close to us. In the bathroom you will find: *a spacious shower *a washbasin *a toilet *a bidet *fluffy towels *hand soap and shower gel/shampoo Underfloor heating keeps your feet warm also in winter. Is there anything better than relaxing on the couch and watching a great movie? Our living room has a lot to offer: *stylish sofa, which can be converted into a cosy bed *42 inch Smart-TV *Marshall player to listen to your favourite music And then... let's jump into the bed! But beware - danger of addiction: it will be difficult to get up again the next day :) *Bedroom 1 has a luxury box spring bed (king-size) for 2 people and a small TV *Bedroom 2 has two single beds that can be converted into a double bed Both bedrooms have access to another terrace. Are you travelling with small children? On request we can provide you with a baby cot and a high chair. We want you to be able to really switch off during your holiday. However, if a video call is unavoidable, you can fully rely on our free fibre-optic WIFI. Also your car is on holiday with us! There is a free private parking space directly in front of the guesthouse. Or you can simply arrive by train, it's only a 7-minute walk to the train station of Sterzing/Vipiteno. Included in the price is the Active Card, with which you can use buses and trains throughout South Tyrol free of charge. The picturesque historic is a nice place not only for a leisurely shopping trip, the ancient Fugger-city (the Fugger were a very wealthy merchant family) will enchant you with ist medieval flair and the famous Zwölferturm. *Prantneralm | 10 minutes The alpine hut Prantneralm, also called „Hausalm“ in terms of endearment, is situated at 1.800 m height and can be reached by car and on foot. The gorgeous panoramic site above Sterzing, that offers a stunnig view on the Stubaier Glacier, and the eccellent south-tyrolean cuisine, make of the Prantneralm a top-destination. *Gilfenklamm | 20 minutes Majestic masses of water, spectacuIar suspension bridges and breathtaking views down into the deep can be admired at the Gilfenklamm in Ratschings. The canyon, which is accessible since 1896, is surely one of the most impressive natural scenery in South – Tyrol and can’t be missing on a holiday wish-list! *Tribulaunhütte | 20 minutes You will get the real „Dolomitenfeeling“ by making the hike to the hut Tribulaunhütte, under the Tribulaun with its proud 3.096 m of height auf. This is where the french geologist Dèodat Dolomieu discovered the clear limestone, which makes the south-tyrolean mountain world so unique, the Dolomite stone! *Mining world Ridnaun | 20 minutes For 800 long years, the mine site Schneeberg was considered Europe‘s highest mine, where silver, lead and zinc were extracted. The mining world of Ridnaun and the spectacular tangle of galleries and shafts can be visited until today and you can learn many interesting things about mining. *Pfitscherjochhaus | 20 minutes The Pfitscherjochhaus is situated in the Alps of the Ziller-valley, at 2.276 m above sea level and directly at the border between Austria and Italy. The refuge „Schutzhütte“ is run as a family business since 1888, and can be considered the oldest private mountain shelter in South-Tyrol. TO DO'S WINTER: *Christmas market | 15 minutes walk In the medieval city of Sterzing, the traditional South-Tyrolean Christmas fair presntes itself as particularly authentic and romantic. The narrow streets are decorated festively and under the illuminated Zwölferturm you will discover ancient craftsmanship, farm products and south-tyrolean specialities. *Sleighing by night | 15 minutes walk Did you know that on the Hausberg in Sterzing, there is the longest snow-covered and illuminated toboggan run in Italy waiting for you? Enjoy tobogganing under the starry sky on a trail of almost 10 km length and with the momentum of refreshment break in one of the cosy mountain refuges. *Skiing | 5 - 20 minutes 3 Ski resorts that can be reached in maximum 20 minutes by car, you’ll find that only here! The ski resorts Rosskopf, Ratschings und Ladurns are among the most modern and most snow-secure resorts in South Tyrol. You will never get bored and several ancient ski refuges provide the necessary momentum during your refreshment breakes. *Cross-country skiing | 20 minutes The Pfitschtal is a genuine insider tip for lovers of cross-country skiing. In the unspoiled Hochtal at 1.500 m of heigth, there are 28 km of pristine groomed trails at your disposal, which blend harmoniously with the snow-covered winter landscape and are suitabe for skaters and skiers with classic style alike. *Allrissalm | 20 minutes This beautiful winter walk leads you through the snowy woods, to the popular Allrissalm and ends ever so often with a funny tobogann ride. The Pflerschtal is known for being particularly snow-secure and enchants with ist unique fairytale landscape and the bold mountain tops. *Lightshow | 25 minutes Every year, from the end of november to the begin of january, in the Imperial palace, the Hofburg, of Brixen/Bressanone, a spectacular, sparkly light- and music show is performed. Bright colours, international music and live singing in an historical setting are waiting for you. Guest access The "Panorama Suite" is located on the first floor and is accessed via an external staircase. Should we not be able to welcome you personally, you will find your keys in a key box. Other things to note Bed linen and towels are included in the price. The local tax (2,50 € per person and night) is not included in the price, you can pay it directly on site. Pets are not allowed.
