The building is getting new windows and there will be some work on the exterior of the building. We don't yet know what day(s) or month work will be done but it looks like April at this point. But the extent of the exterior remodeling depends on what they find when they start. All this may or may not be happening during your visit in March. We reduced the rent because of the uncertainty of the impact and timing. New windows only take one day to install. But there may also be work to do on the outside cement walls. And the same goes with the exterior walls of the building. All we know for sure about the impact is that they will be grinding the cement in order to see if there is Rusted rebar in two columns of the East walls. One column is in the master bedroom and the other is in the living room. Work Crews will get started around 8:00 in the morning and don't work past 4:00 p.m. If it should happen that the work is interfering too much with your visit, we will authorize a refund for any days left in the month. No hotels or big box stores for 8 miles in each direction. 1 hour from Disney and other Orlando Attractions 1/4 mile from a 711 convenience store and gas station. 1 mile in each direction to public golf courses (Including Arnold Palmer-designed course) 1 mile in each direction to local public access beaches with lifeguards and nice picnic venues 2 miles in each direction to shopping villages, great restaurants, post office, 8miles from big box stores and chain restaurants This is a very quiet, residential, small-town atmosphere with extremely low crime and no hi-rise hotels. Our storage unit is right next to the beach access gate and is full of every sort of beach gear you can think of including... Boogie boards, skim boards, chairs, umbrellas, coolers, insulated cups, Fishing pole holders, casting net for bait, pole net and hook to assist with bringing in heavy fish, and a sand flea tool (also good for hunting sea shells and other treasure!) We offer all types of sunscreen with different SPF ratings as well as clothing (hats, trunks, and shirts with SPF protection in the material). We also have a variety of sizes and styles of new and used beach and water shoes, as well as diving goggles, snorkeling gear, swim caps, ear plugs, nose plugs, beach towels, and blankets. A portable aluminum picnic table as well as other novel beach accessories will provide a very customized beach experience. We provide a spray bottle of disinfectant for use before and after wearing any previously used articles.... Other things to note There is nothing to bring except clothing and food. Because this has been our main home for more than 23 years, it is fully equipped with the usual condiments, as well as gourmet spices, oils, and all types of appliances.
