Nestled on 7 private acres just off Highway 35, 50 miles south of Duluth. Wildlife like turkey, deer, foxes, and beavers are frequent visitors to your front yard! (Dining table located here with a min-split heat and cooling source) OUTDOORS - Huge backyard with river views - Canoe, Kayaks + Life Jackets - Hammocks for Stargazing - Volleyball, ladder ball + corn hole games - Charcoal Grill – Bring your own charcoal (summer) - Fire pit w/ Chairs (bring your own firewood) - Raspberry-lined driveway (seasonal picking!) - Lots of parking for ATV’s + Snowmobiles LAUNDRY + CLEANING - Washer and dryer in home - Laundry detergent provided - Rags, cleaning supplies, dishwasher pods, vacuum, mop and broom - We provide a starter pack of paper towels, garbage bags and toilet paper (which typically is plenty for a 3 day stay!) Our cabin’s location right on the beautiful Kettle River means you’ll be surrounded by nature’s charm but Mother Nature can be unpredictable! During certain seasons, the river may flood, which could temporarily affect amenities like kayaking, the dock, or the volleyball area. Not to worry, though! We’re pros at adapting—volleyball can be set up closer to the house, and our indoor amenities like the sauna, games, and cozy fireplace always guarantee a fun and relaxing stay. The dock is safely removed during winter and will be back in place come spring (weather permitting). Winter: While the dock is removed for the season, enjoy winter adventures like snowmobiling, ice fishing, cozy evenings by the fire, and weekly events at local watering holes, including karaoke, bingo, live music, and meat raffles! Or, stay in and enjoy the heated floors and sauna! Heated floors are located in the bathrooms, bedrooms and complete lower level.
