Pretty Gite "Le Petit Cinq Ruffe"

Take a break and unwind at our pretty little gite close to lovely villages , local places of interest , markets and restaurants. Le Petit Cinq Ruffe is just 10 minutes from the Dordogne River. For wine lovers stunning St Emillion is about 25 minutes away and the beautiful city of Bordeaux an hours drive or easily visited by train from several local stations. Bergerac is 40 minutes away and a must visit. The space THE SPACE Le Petit Cinq Ruffe is a pretty little gite situated in the grounds of our house in Listrac de Dureze , a very small and quiet hamlet. Peace and tranquillity abound , only interrupted with the hourly sound of the church bell from 7am to 7 pm The property is set amongst vineyards with a wonderful views. Sometimes you might hear the sound of machinery necessary to tend the vines but it is welcome and interesting. The villages of Gensac and Pellegrue with a new boulangerie are close by for essentials . Beautiful and" world famous" St Emillion is not far away. The Gite has an open plan living / dining area with a log burner , TV and Wi-Fi. The newly fitted kitchen is fully equipped and has an induction hob , electric oven fridge freezer and dishwasher. Patio doors from the kitchen area lead onto a private decked terrace with a view of Mont du Launay ( the highest point in the Gironde ). There is an outdoor dining table with 4 chairs , a parasol and two sunbeds. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and a lovely view through the patio doors which also lead onto the terrace . The modern bathroom has a walk in shower and double basin vanity unit. Guest access You can relax and enjoy the spacious garden and Swimming Pool. The pool is available for your use from May to October ( please note the pool is shared with the owners ) . Other things to note The grounds of the property are open to the vineyards on some of the boundaries and offer some lovely walks. . Feel free to walk onto the vineyards and the surrounding area. The very old church in Listrac de Dureze is also worth a little visit. Pets are welcome with a maximum of 2 dogs / cats etc. There is a small charge of £5 per night per pet .
