Sunny cottage in the Winooski River Valley, between Montpelier, Hardwick, and St Johnsbury. Easy access on main route with gardens, wildlife, and great views. Directly on VAST trail connecting to Cross Vt Trail. You can enjoy hiking, biking and cross country skiing through fields and forest right out your door. Swimming holes and kayaking nearby. Close to Goddard College and Groton State Forest and within an hour of Hill Farmstead Brewery, Jasper Hill, Barr Hill, Lake Willoughby and Burke Mt. The space The cottage sleeps 4, has 1 bedroom and 1 sleeping loft. The main living space has a big window overlooking the gardens, the valley, and the hills beyond. It sits on 6 acres along the Winooski River. You have the entire cottage to yourself, your own driveway, and private deck. I live on the property next door. I am fine with no contact, and am available if needed. You may see me in the gardens or feeding the chickens. Use of wood fired hot tub by special arrangement and additional charge. Guest access The whole cottage and deck is yours only. The immediate yard is also only for you. The field, paths, and river are accessible to you as well as myself. If you choose to use the hot tub, that will be just for you. Other things to note The hot tub requires special arrangements and additional charge, as it is a wood fired tub and requires me to make a fire 4 or 5 hours before your ready to use it.
