The accommodation is located on the ground floor of an elegant and welcoming mountain house, inhabited by the family who proposes the stay. In three minutes by foot you reach the center of the village, with the fifteenth-century church, a typical restaurant, a grocery store, a cultural center, a museum of traditional music. The space The accommodation consists of four rooms: a large living room with kitchen; a double bedroom; a veranda with large windows; toilets / shower and dressing room. The two main rooms open directly onto the garden. Two additional beds (sofa bed) are available on request. Guest access Access is from the garden reserved for guests, directly connected to the parking space along the local road that connects to the town of Rore Other things to note Rore di Sampeyre is a town characterized by architecture, history and cultural tradition, located at 900 m. asl in Valle Varaita, 30 kilometers from Saluzzo (city of art, seat of the ancient Marquisate) and 35 from the French border, reachable via the international pass of Colle dell'Agnello (2,742 m asl) (Guillestre and Briançon about 50 km from the border). Immersed in the greenery, Rore is the ideal place for excursions in the woods and along the streams (on foot or by mountain bike), being at the center of a rich network of well-maintained and well-marked paths, connected with other centers and alpine refuges. Near the village there is an equipped path for families, called "Sentiero dei Sarvanot", named after the nice creatures, between the real and the imaginary, that populate the surrounding woods (if you pay attention you can see them among the branches and the fronds). An attraction for enthusiasts is offered by the small walls and bulders equipped for sport climbing (a recent publication with all the necessary information is available). For the romantics of the road bicycle, the location is strategic for making two climbs that have entered the history of the Giro d'Italia: the Colle di Sampeyre (2,250 m asl) and the aforementioned Colle dell'Agnello (from which you can continue to the mythical Izoard).
