Beatriz House

Centenary house of family origin, belonging to our dear grandmother Beatriz, recently restored and located in a wonderful village of Serra da Lousã with a calm, peaceful environment and with an extraordinary natural surroundings. The village is surrounded by a natural environment of mountains and forest, with unique flora and fauna in Portugal. Flanking the village are two streams of clear water, ideal for walks along its banks and for refreshing baths in its crystalline waters. The space The house has a kitchen and an outdoor patio on the lower floor. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, a living room, a complete bathroom with shower and bidet and a balcony. Guest access Guests have at their disposal the entire house, the balcony overlooking the mountains and a patio with barbecue where they can grill. It has a small table and chairs ideal for enjoying a late afternoon drink or even having breakfast. It is located in a small square in the middle of the village where there is no noise or traffic and where there is shade from the grape trellises in the street, which in summer provide magnificent shade and an appetizing coolness. Guests have at their disposal lounge chairs that they can place outside enjoying all the tranquility of the place. Other things to note The village is located a few kilometers from the town of Castanheira de Pera where it has all trade and services. The same happens with the village of Figueiró dos Vinhos, or Pedrógão Grande. The village of Lousã and its shale villages - Talasnal, Candal, Cerdeira, Gondramaz - are also very close. Dark Sky - The Starlight Foundation awarded Dark Sky Aldeias do Xisto international certification as a Starlight Tourist Destination. This means that the Serra da Lousã has excellent conditions of visibility, transparency and darkness of the sky and that places it in a new tourist position that goes beyond the mere observation of the sky to assume itself as a strategic bet that reconciles tourism development with social sustainability and environmental. It is located in the center of the country, next to the IC8 and IC2, roads that connect to the main road routes in the country. A few kilometers away there are the following walkways: - das Quelhas (Castanheira de Pera) - Fragas de São Simão (Figueiró dos Vinhos) next to the Schist village of Casal de São Simão and the river beach with the same name. In Castanheira de Pera there is also the largest artificial beach with waves, the well-known Praia das Rocas.
