Happy Trees is a vintage chalet that has been thoughtfully renovated and styled. Our place is bright, airy, and open. It's the perfect home base for whatever you may want to do whether it's skiing, swimming, hiking, or simply relaxing and lounging around. Our place is a short walk to Conway Lake and a short drive from the Saco River. Conveniently located minutes from North Conway village. Follow us on IG (@happytrees_cabin) for additional content & information. The space The house is composed of two floors; each floor serving different purposes and posing an ambiance of its own. The main floor, or upstairs, is considered to be the formal area. Here, guests will encounter the main entrance that leads into the dining room. From there, the space opens to a large vaulted room that contains the kitchen and living room. The kitchen is stocked with all the necessary pots, pans, utensils, plates, bowls, and so forth for preparing most meals. For the coffee drinkers, we have an espresso machine (instructions provided) as well as a traditional pour-over coffee set. In the living room, guests can enjoy the wood burning stove while indulging in cable TV, reading a book, or sipping a cocktail from the bar station...don't forget to BYOB :) Adjacent to the living room, there is a small mudroom for storing coats, boots, and other personal belongings. The far side of the living room also leads to a half bathroom as well as two out of the three bedrooms. The upstairs bedrooms both have queen beds and closets. The larger master bedroom has an additional full bathroom complete with a shower/tub combination. The downstairs area is where guests can really lounge out and get comfortable. Here, you will find a very large third bedroom. This bedroom has 2 single twin beds and a bunk bed (full on bottom, twin on top). This is a great room for accommodating children or additional guests. Downstairs, guests can lounge out on a large, comfortable sectional while enjoying streaming services, like Netflix, on the 75" smart TV. Just around the corner from this area, guests will encounter another full bathroom equipped with a stand-up shower as well as a washer and dryer for your laundry needs. Last but not least, we also have a nice little game room/sitting area with an additional small TV. Guests are welcomed to enjoy the outdoor area as well. There is a fire pit which guests are allowed to use if they have acquired an individual fire permit in accordance with town and state law.
