Private Annex to Historic Mill House Step-free

A lovely self-contained private annex to our 17th century thatched mill house in the Somerset countryside in 2 acres of private grounds on the banks of a river in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Lovely local footpaths, a short drive to the Dorset and Devon coast and 2 mins from the A303. A homely peaceful rural location. Perfect for a relaxing or romantic weekend. Nestled in the beautiful Blackdown Hills this really is a very special location The space A double bed with an en-suite shower room with toilet. You have tea and coffee making facilities with a mini fridge containing milk - please let us know upon booking if you need a dairy substitute. Guest access Unfortunately you cannot roam the grounds of the main house! When we are not living there we Airbnb the 3 different properties - House, annex and Shepherds Hut. There is a patio table and 2 chairs just outside the annex for you to sit and enjoy the raised beds area. During your stay Tracy the co-host lives a few minutes away. Other things to note The Candlelight Inn is presently closed whilst the owners find new tenants. Please check our guidebooks for other options Also! We had an ancient Oak tree fall from the farmer's side of the river, which, although it has been cleared, shook the house quite considerably! We are experiencing some cracking inside, which we have scheduled for repairs, but their availability is in the autumn. We want to use the same firm that we used throughout the property when we substantially remodelled.
