Stay in the Harneit Manor and farm, just 22 miles from the Death Valley Opera House. Partially modeled after the historic Death Valley Junction Hotel (Amargosa Opera House), this property is sited on 40 acres in the heart of a working, organic farm. Excellent stargazing and close to the Amargosa Big Dune sand dune, with good access to Beatty, NV and two entrances to Death Valley National Park. You will have access to the entire house, kitchen, work area, South Meeting/event room. 6 beds total! The space The Master Suite has a King Bed and a walk through closet to the Master Bath. It is well separated from the rest of the house. The Guest Bedroom has two Queen Beds and a private bathroom with shower and tub. The Formal Bedroom has a King Bed and shares the bathroom with the hall bath. There is no tub or shower in the Hall bathroom. The overflow room has 2 Queen beds and a desk. A short walk directly North of the Pool is the private designated stargazing area. The pool is not heated currently. For groups larger than 6, additional guests are $10/night. Guest access Guests are welcome to access the house however like any resort the areas of exterior construction and maintenance are off limits for safety reasons. Stay tuned for the Solar House! Other things to note Currently on the farm: About 250 Certified Organic chicks, soon to be on the front lines of egg production to combat egg prices! Coming soon: Alfalfa and other plantings in the fields. House Notes: The South Meeting Room can be used for event space, groups, or additional guests. If you would like more than 8 guests please reach out and let us know what you need. Groups up to 30 are possible. Landscape work is being performed and this is a working farm, so one or more employees will likely be on site during days. This is a working farm property and while you are welcome to observe we ask you to use caution and common sense. Please stay from any equipment and construction areas and materials.
