This memorable place is anything but ordinary - a quiet, peaceful setting with a bird sanctuary right behind the unit observed from the kitchen window. Relax on the deck in the evenings watching the beautiful sunset, star filled skies at night, the donkeys and chickens corralled in the distance, and the goldfish swim in the Lilypad pond just off to the side. It is best suited for 2 adults but could accommodate a small child. Two other units also available - The Henhouse & The Donkey Garden The space It is a 17' vintage camper with full kitchen and bath. It is located just off a very lightly travelled road on 2 acres. We are located in the Texas hill country in the Highland Lakes area. Restaurants, entertainment, shopping, and many outdoor activities are only minutes away. Guest access The barn is off limits but carrots will be provided for you to feed the donkeys. They will be more than happy to see you. Stay out of the penned in area for the animals unless accompanied by host. You may freely walk up and down the road which is about 2.5 miles total and safely walked daily. Other things to note Keep any pets on leash while outside. Only a small, well-trained pet is permitted. Medium or large dogs have to be kept outside at all times unless in a kennel or on a leash. No threatening animals permitted. No smoking allowed inside at all. On a hot Summer day drive down the road 5 minutes to Krause Springs.
