This is a cozy, yet spacious, studio in the centrally located and historical Gateway Building. This building is one turn off of US highway 6 and very easy to access. Your space is located on the backside of building, facing the mountains. The condo is located on the first floor of the building, however, due to the slope of the land, the unit’s window is on the second floor of the backside of the building which provides additional privacy during your stay. The studio has tall 9+ ft ceilings and features a combined living room, bedroom, and dining area. The ensuite bathroom provides a sizable area to get ready for the day and a guest closet area provides space to store skis and boots. The large king bed provides a comfortable place to rest and the couch can easily pull out into a full size bed to use as additional sleeping space for guests or as an extra cozy place to curl up a watch TV by the fireplace. There is a functional kitchenette where you can make coffee using the Keurig (K-cups included) before heading out for the day. Toast bagels with the toaster oven, heat up leftovers in the microwave, or use the induction hot plate to cook up a meal and stay in after a long day of skiing or biking. The condo has a brand new and easy to use heating and A/C unit for your comfort. There is also a beautiful gas fireplace that provides wonderful ambiance as well as an additional heating source. Guest access River Run Village, the primary lift for Keystone resort, is a short >10 walk from the unit if you are feeling up for it. Alternatively, we would recommend the convenient shuttle to River Run Village, which picks up right next to the building, an approximately 1 minute walk! Everything you could need is located in the retail shops of this building. Avoid the search for parking in Keystone Village by using the free access to our building's underground parking garage for one vehicle per unit. There is also uncovered, oversized vehicle parking available on a first come/first serve basis available for vehicles that cannot fit in the garage. Other things to note The lobby is furnished with a gas fireplace, views of the mountain, free high speed wi-fi and lots of seating areas for hanging out or working from the mountain. There are also community bathrooms available which include an additional shower stall. There is an elevator from the parking area to the first floor condo location – all access requires no stairs. For additional convenience there is a lockable storage locker accessible from the parking garage. You can use this space to store skis and any other equipment. There are bike racks available inside the underground parking lot - just bring your own lock. Luggage carts are provided to assist with transferring bags and gear. The building has a no dog policy for guests, however they are allowed for owners. Please note dogs and other pets may be in the building.
