The studio hosts 2 persons sharing one bed, and comes with an ensuite, a fully equipped kitchenette, full climate control and high-speed wifi. You have direct access to the pool and beautiful views of the valley. It is located near Penela and Condeixa amenities, outdoor adventures & cultural sites. Step out directly onto the refreshing poolside from the studio equipped with a convenient kitchenette, a separate bath, and a state-of-the-art split heating and cooling system complemented by fans to keep you comfortable in any season. This idyllic retreat is designed as a tiny apartment-style lodging with all the essentials for self-sufficiency wrapped up in a compact yet luxurious furnishings and is tailored for nomads who crave peace and connection with the countryside. Stay connected with the world through fast fibre optic cable internet and 5G high-speed Wi-Fi, ensuring your work or leisure browsing is uninterrupted. Nestled within a quaint wine-producing village, the studio lies within the expansive grounds of a larger wine and olive oil-producing Quinta. While you'll find all the necessary amenities just 5 km away in the charming town of Penela, or 25 km away in Coimbra, there's an abundance of local attractions to explore. Delight in regional cuisine, unwind at picturesque river beaches, embark on scenic hikes, discover ancient Roman ruins, engage in cultural and music events, or indulge in adrenaline-pumping outdoor Xtreme activities—the choice is yours! For those seeking inner peace or wishing to rejuvenate mind and body, we offer on-site yoga sessions, mindfulness practice, and shinrin-yoku (forest bathing). The Quinta also provides unique agricultural workshops where you can learn about vineyard care and olive grove maintenance; participate in seasonal grape and olive harvests; and even try your hand at winemaking. Things to note: The coffee machine uses capsules of the brand Porsi, which can be purchased at Intermarché (not to worry, we have capsules handy). We also provide a plunger coffee pot. If you need anything, simply come to the main building or call us, we will be happy to answer your requests (where to visit, taxis, toilet rolls, cleaning the pool or your room, changing sheets and towels, etc, etc). The use of the laundry is subject to a small fee, 6-10 kg wash and use of the dryer is included. We can also organise breakfast and nibbles. If your friends want to visit, they can lodge in the Old Mill room next to your studio or in the quinta. We are set up for 6 adult guests. Monthly rates are not available during the high season, June to October. Guest access 400 m2 at the swimming pool, 4000 m2 of ground access, basically all the grounds save animal and machinery keeping areas. you can enjoy the lounge and verandah in the quinta if you wish to watch TV, spread over the large dining table or simply be in a cosy lounge. There are 2 parking spaces. Other things to note We are a working farm. We have animals and plantations. Please ask us before entering restricted areas as there are some hidden hazards. Please note that some animals (ducks, chickens, mouflons and dwarf pigs) are left to roam free on the property as they are agricultural helpers and workers. They also are fully socialized and love a hug if you wish to interact with them. If you feel uncomfortable, we are happy to take them back to their enclosure, simply let us know!
