Luxury retreat with hot tub & fabulous views

The ultimate Snowdonia retreat set in 22 acres with fantastic scenic hill & lakeside walks from the front door & the village (including 2 pubs!) within walking distance. The perfect get away for family or a group of friends. All the creature comforts you could wish for including Egyptian cotton sheets, a wood burning stove & Smart TV for cosy evenings after a long day adventuring. The hot tub is the prefect place to relax & enjoy a glass of bubbly under the stars. The space The Barn forms part of Gelli Newydd which was once a hill farm - now a collection of 3 luxury holiday cottages. The property has 3 bedrooms. The ground floor bedroom has a superking bed which is zip & link so can be made into single beds on request. This room has an ensuite with a large walk-in shower. Similarly, the larger bedroom upstairs has a superking bed which is zip & link. This room also has a additional single bed/day bed (see photos) which can be made up on request. This room is ensuite with a shower over the bath. The third bedroom has 2 single beds. There is an additional wet room shower as part of the downstairs cloakroom. The kitchen is really well equipped - perfect for guests who enjoy cooking! A travel cot and highchair are available on request. There is a large, private enclosed lawned garden with patio, garden furniture, barbecue, and a new stunning electric hot tub (installed April 2025). The Barn has underfloor heating (from an eco friendly ground source heat pump) on the ground floor so has a comfortable stable temperature throughout the year. Other things to note There is a heated bike store (shared with the Bothy & the Farmhouse) to keep your bikes or other sporting equipment & a rail to dry coats & wet suits. Because of our location, the only way we can have our beautiful hot tubs is with a little help from our guests. We give full details in our welcome book & instructions in the property but simply, if you want to use the hot tub, we will expect you please to drain it, give it a wipe down & a rinse (all of which takes about 10 minutes). If guests don't do this, unfortunately we have to pass on the £50 cost that we are charged. The log store is well stocked - please help yourself to extra supplies if you run low.
