Waterfront Deck Cottage, Free Parking for Car/Boat

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Wake up and enjoy a hot cup of coffee to the million-dollar waterfront view right at your doorstep. Unless you decide to leave the property to go exploring, shoes are not required while staying at our cottage because the entire house is surrounded by wooden decks. Hence, the Deck Cottage. We have 3 adjacent vacation rental properties to accomodate larger groups. The space The Deck Cottage has been completely renovated on the inside in March 2022. All furnitures in bedroom, living room, and dining room are brand new. Kitchen is updated with new granite countertop and new appliances (refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and microwave). For the comfort of home away from home, we provide all basic kitchenwares: Pots and pans, cooking utensils, bakewares, mixing bowls, scissors, knives, cutting boards, can/cork opener, dishes, flatwares, drinking glasses, mugs, coffee maker, and airfryer. Kitchen drawers and cabinets with contents are clearly labeled to easily locate. Basic essentials: Starbucks coffee, cream and sugar, shampoo, conditioner, salt, pepper, and cooking oil. Other basics: Hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Each of the 2 bedrooms has a queen size bed. In the living room, there is a futon converting into a twin size bed. Our sofa sectional comfortably accomodates 2 adults or 3 children. Your vacation starter kit includes the following. All beds are made with fresh linens upon arrival. Extra sheets and blankets are provided for futon and sofa. Five bath towels, 1 roll toilet paper, 1 roll paper towel, 2 can liners, and 2 tall kitchen bags. Please bring your own beach towels and beach chairs. We keep the house simply decorated to ensure thorough house keeping that meets Covid-19 standard before each group of guests arrive. NOTE NOTE NOTE: We have a VERY STRICT NO PET POLICY. If you are caught with a pet, you will be charged $500 extra for cleaning fee on top of our usual cleaning fee. NO SMOKING/VAPING INSIDE HOUSE/SUNROOM (outside ok) Guest access Our guests will have access to the entire house, decks, and all outside chairs and pillow. We have a unique built-in charcoal grill in the backyard. Imagine it's 5 o'clock somewhere, grilling with a beer/coctail in your hand overlooking boats passing by the beautiful Bogue Sound. Please bring your own charcoal. Our guests could fish or relax watching sunrise/sunset from our private dock. We ask that guests be careful since the dock has no railings. Other things to note There are plenty of parking for cars. We also have designated parking area for boats and boat trailers on the property. All parkings are free of charge. Notify host if you will bring a boat. We continuously work to improve the outside of our property for your safety and enjoyment.
