Our quiet partially secluded cabin is located in Buckfield, Me. Buckfield is nestled in the western foothills of Maine. If you are looking for a relaxing quiet getaway this is the place for you! The cabin has a big yard and beautiful Mountain Views and sits on over 90 acres of trails and woods for hiking, biking, ATVing, and more. A great place for hanging by the fire pit at night and looking up at the star lit sky. In the winter it’s a great spot for snowmobiling and cross country skiing. This cabin will sleep 4 but is best suited for 2 people. It is like a tiny home. There is a small loft with 2 twin mattresses. The main space has a Queen sleeper sofa and a small futon. The futon is small for a child up to 12 years old. We live next door. So if you need anything we are here to help. With a Village Store with everything you need from toothpaste to pizza and subs. There is one restaurant called the Buck-it, also a small library. This property is located close to many ski resorts, approximately 40 minutes from Sundae River ski resort, 30 min. to Mt. Abraham, and 10 min. to Lost Valley in Auburn. Shawnee Peak is also about 30 minutes away. Also a great area for leaf peeping. We are about an hour from Kancamagus Hwy in NH and 45 minutes from Fryeburg where they host the famous Fryeburg Fair. We are about 50 minutes to Portland and the Old Port. If you are looking to go to L.L. Bean in Freeport that is about 45 minutes. There is a Pond accessible by ATV or walking thru some trails. Great for fishing! We are relatively close to some of the ski resorts. All within a 30- 45 min drive. Sunday River, Pleasant Mountain, Mt. Abraham and Lost Valley
