Come and relax at this peaceful and private getaway surrounded by walnut groves. Warm yourself by the fire pit or in the hot tub. Located in Red Bluff, minutes from the Sacramento River. Swim, canoe or fish all day. Enjoy scenic wineries; gorgeous hiking trails; casinos; & the rodeo. Day trip to Mt Shasta, Lassen Volcanic Nat’l Park, or Lake Almanor. Tastefully decorated open floor plan. Fully equipped kitchen. Smart Tvs. Gated yard. Large patio. Foosball. Bag toss. Darts. Fire pit & hot tub. The space Walk up to a private yard surrounded by a white picket fence and porch; open the front door and see from the living room to the kitchen and back dining room. The living room is decorated in neutral tones; has 1 new sleeper sofa; a 65” smart TV; and a bathroom nearby. The very first bedroom has a Cal King bed, nightstand, chair and closet. The second bedroom has a queen bed, nightstand, chair, closet and wall shelves. The master bedroom has a Cal King bed, night stands, 50” smart television; dresser, closet and private bath with a double sink. The kitchen has a stainless steel refrigerator and Samsung range; a dishwasher; coffee maker; toaster, blender; microwave; cooking utensils; cookware; baking dishes; salad bowls, etc. The dining room has a large hanging barn door that can be left open or closed; a table that seats 6; a pantry; a coffee station and a washer and dryer. Off the dining room, walk out to a serene private patio with plenty of seating; water cooling mist; a swing; fire pit and hot tub. From there, walk to the grassy backyard. Outside, separated from the house is a small office that we turned into a bedroom, but to access a bathroom, a person would need to go inside the house. Also, since this bedroom is a garage convert, consider it “glamping.” It’s nicely decorated but not as insulated as the main part of the house. This bedroom has a queen bed and large closet. IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE: 1. PLEASE NOTE: We are surrounded by gorgeous walnut groves in a very natural settings. As such, expect what you’d expect if camping in the woods. We have our fair share of critters. We have deer, raccoons, squirrels, birds, ants, beetles, pincher ear wigs, spiders, moths, butterflies, etc. The outside “bedroom” which is the 4th bedroom is particularly susceptible, but we don’t even list that room as a bedroom. We advertise a 3/2 but you’re welcome to use it so long as you understand, it’s an extra so no complaints if you see a fly or pincher bug. Insects come with the nature. We are super clean. We have regular pest control both inside and out, but it’s still the woods. Someone who is squeamish should choose an indoor bedroom. We’ve fixed it up but anyone who stays there should be fine with anything you might see when camping in a tent in the woods. 2. PLEASE NOTE: Sometimes nearby animals might leave us surprises outside. We don’t have daily maid service so we’re asking that guests are able to handle such inconveniences, just as you would if camping in the woods. 3. The doors and windows have screens, but as you walk in and out a moth or something similar could fly in. That’s just normal and we expect guests to handle it because we don’t have daily maid service. With so many warnings, you might be worried. Again, we are civilized and clean but when living surrounded by walnut groves, in nature, you might see a bug. If you rent with us, YOU AGREE THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS if you see a bug. Bugs are part of life in the woods, when camping or when surrounded by gorgeous walnut groves. We promise to maintain a super clean home and ongoing pest control. I’m not much of a camper, so I like things well maintained, but I accept the reality of living surrounded by nature. 4. Please Note: Our internet runs on a T-mobile hotspot. We have no problem having 3 phones connected and both televisions running Netflix or streaming some other service. That’s it. We hope you are coming here to unwind and disconnect. 5. Please Note: the jacuzzi is seasonal. Red Bluff is very hot in the summer and the jacuzzi water is dangerously hot. The jacuzzi should be used in Fall, Winter and Spring. Guest access You would have the entire house, inside and out, to yourselves. The yard, patio and hot tub are also private. You have plenty of parking but no garage access. That’s where we store supplies. Other things to note Note: no smoking inside. You agree to pay an additional $500 fee if the inside of the home smells like smoke. Note: absolutely no parties with guests not listed in your guest count. We are friends with local law enforcement and if you throw a party, we will shut the power off; you will be removed immediately; cars that do not belong to registered guests will be towed at owner’s expense and absolutely no refunds. Note: we have an exterior camera that records sound and video at the front of the home. Note: We are surrounded by walnut groves, there are times when there may be loud noises during the daytime through harvest season in the fall months. Every tree is shaken by a knocker so that all the walnuts fall to the ground. Then a large sweeper sweeps them up. It could be a great educational experience for the kids, but if you absolutely need quiet, fall may not be the best time to come to Red Bluff. Note: we get our internet from a T mobile hotspot. Both TV’s can access Netflix and stream without a problem. You may also connect your phones to the hotspot.
