Welcome to our home! We hope it can provide you with a good base while you explore Denver. We are within walking and biking distance, and a quick drive, to several main street areas - Rino, Five Points, Lodo, Uptown and Downtown - you won't run out of places to explore! City Park is a quick 12 minute walk away, and many of the city's museums, parks, restaurants and sports areas are within a small radius of our home as well. The space Originally built in 1901, our home has character and class, while featuring modern amenities. We love living here and hope it’s a space that provides you with a comfy and inviting place to hang out while in Denver. Main floor: The front of the house offers a spacious patio with an outdoor seating area for your enjoyment. Step inside the home to the front living room with a fireplace and cozy seating. The spacious kitchen, with a half bathroom, opens into a large sun-filled living room. The dining room is designed for entertaining with seating for 8 (plus another 2 at the kitchen bar). Use the Nest to control the heat and central air conditioning, work remotely with high speed 5G internet throughout the home and watch a show on the large LCD TV in the living room. The backyard has a patio with seating and a large hot tub. The gas grill in the backyard is available for use as well. You can find board games in the front entryway cabinet. Upstairs: Walk upstairs to find 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom. The deck off of bedrooms 2 and 3 holds lounge space with furniture and is a perfect place to catch a sunset or sip your morning coffee. Basement: The basement includes an attached full bathroom and kitchenette. This is a great space for kids to hang out and includes a TV and ample closet space. A washer and dryer are available in the basement at no charge. Bedroom 1 - Queen Bed Bedroom 2 - Crib Bedroom 3 - Double Bed Basement Bedroom 4 - Queen Bed + 2 single beds. LOCATION: All that Denver has to offer is within a short walk, bike ride, Uber or Lightrail (intercity train). There are many city bus stops within a few blocks as well as a Lightrail stop. You hardly need a car to get around with this as home base! Within 1-2 blocks you'll find Birdcall (the best fried chicken around), Queen City Coffee, Agave Shore (tacos and margs), Spangalang Brewery, 715 Cocktail bar and Famous J's Pizza, and the famous Rosenbergs Bagels (NY style bagels and bagel sandwiches). This, along with other historic spots, make up the heart of Historic Five Points. Within a 5-15 minute walk are even more Denver highlights: All that RINO has to offer, including the nationally known cocktail bar Death and Company, many restaurants, bars and coffee shops, as well as some boutique shopping. Uptown, with a great walkable Main Street with lots of restaurants to choose from is a short walk. Hop on a bike or scooter and you'll be in Downtown, 16th Street Mall and LODO within 15 minutes. Within 1-2 miles you'll be in 2 of Denver's best parks (City Park and Cheeseman), Ball Arena (Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche) and Coors Field (Colorado Rockies). Guest access We offer contactless check-in with a door code that will be provided before your stay begins. Other things to note The house offers street parking. Street sweeping is on the 2nd Wednesdays of the month and we recommend moving your car by 8am on the 2nd Wednesday of the month to avoid a ticket. Our space is a beautiful historic home refreshed with care for the modern world. A great place to gather with friends, connect with colleagues, or meet with loved ones. This is not a “party house” and any signs of unauthorized use in this regard will result in owners alerting local authorities & eviction.
