Adventure Prospect - Historic Waterfront Cottage
Adventure Prospect - Historic Waterfront Cottage
Description
Relax and enjoy your stay at this unique and tranquil getaway. 'Adventure Prospect' has recently been completely renovated and is steeped in military history. Formerly known as the "shifting house" it was first built in 1898-1899 to accommodate munitions workers changing into the special clothing that they wore when working on magazines. The cottage provides an ideal escape from everyday life and has direct access to the water. The space Please be aware there is no TV or Wi-Fi at the property. Books, magazines and games are available for you to use , this is an ideal opportunity to relax from busy everyday life. We also recommend no children under the age of 10 yrs this is due to the close proximity to very deep water. There’s plenty of parking next to the cottage through private gates. Other things to note Please be aware there is no tv or Wi-Fi but lots of games and books. We also don’t recommend young children due to the substantial drop from the Camber and close proximity to deep water During the winter months we supply the first basket of logs with kindling and fire lighters after which we ask guests to replenish the logs available from local supermarkets/garages.
