Other things to note 20 minutes to Route 66 Speedway 12 minutes to Braidwood Generating Station 19 minutes to Dresden Generating Station Guests must be verified through Airbnb in order to book. Expect some authentic Route 66 road noise at times, although we have a white noise machine available for our lighter sleepers. ROLL-AWAY BED & GUEST COUNT: Our base rate is for 2 guests. A 3rd guest can be added to your reservation for a nightly fee, which includes access to the bed. If you are 2 guests but require separate beds, we offer access to our cot-sized roll-away (31"x75") for $35. For health and safety, the bed remains locked until reserved. Please note that at least 24 hours' notice is required to prepare and unlock the bed for your stay. ABOUT OUR STUDIO: While the Studio itself has been recently renovated, the building has lots of its 1930s character. This may show as imperfections in the plaster, creaky doors, potential noises and smells from other tenants as well as smells typical from an old building. Occasionally, with the change of weather and humidity, we’ve noticed the building likes to share it’s history and age, by having a faint smoke smell from when the building was heated with wood. While many people, including ourselves, find this endearing and indicative of the 100 years of history that have taken place in these walls, those with sensitivities may be best suited for the modern (and somewhat boring) hotels in nearby Joliet.
