South Hobart is a fantastic place to visit. It is a bohemian mix of many walks of life. People stay for not only our proximity to the city, (5-min drive or 20-min walk along the Hobart Rivulet) but also to nature, with several walking paths and MTB trails surrounding the suburb. Kunyani/Mt Wellington looms overhead, making for brilliant viewing, especially sunrises and sunsets. * Single Adult only. ** 4-night maximum. *** No fridge/freezer, kitchen or laundry. ****Camping fridges not allowed. The space Welcome to the Loft, which is part of our young family home and exclusively yours to use during your stay, including a separate private entry. This area of our home has been architecturally re-designed and recently renovated, including the loft bedroom, ground floor bathroom and sitting room. A new ducted air-conditioning system is spread throughout the space, including underfloor heating in the bathroom. This stay is perfect for single travellers looking to enjoy a few days of inner-city living. *Please note that the space DOES NOT include a kitchen, fridge/freezer or laundry facility. Camping fridges not allowed, this is because we do not offer any food preparation facilities. ** If you are staying with us you will need to order take away, uber eats or dine out at the many wonderful restaurants and cafes that are nearby. *** We only accept 4-night bookings. Other things to note We are strictly a 4-night maximum booking only, please do not ask for longer stays. This is our home, we live here so please respect that loud noises after 9pm are not permitted. From time to time you may hear the happy squeal of a child, the whir of a coffee machine or the occasional scramble of the family dog chasing a ball. THERE IS NO KITCHEN OR KITCHEN FACILITIES (NO FRIDGE), AND NO LAUNDRY. We are situated on a quiet street with great cafes, restaurants, pubs and gourmet grocers within walking distance, and of course the lively city being only a short drive or walk away. The bustling Ginger Brown café is literally around the corner, with Lupin, Cascade Hotel a few minutes further along. The Cascade Brewery and Visitor’s Centre is further up Macquarie Street and pleasant walk in amongst the Historic houses – or along the Rivulet Track. Turning towards the city is South Hobart village. Amongst these are the cafes Bear With Me and The Food Store, Vanidols restaurant, the local post office and chemist as well as the very popular Hill Street Grocer (Salad Bowl) for all fresh produce and gourmet treats. 
 There's a bus stop right around the corner, and the Metro buses run frequently. Alternatively, it costs about $9 for an Uber from or to the city, or, $6 for an electric scooter. It is also an easy walk to the city via the rivulet track – picturesque and flat all the way. The Red Double Decker Bus is a fun option for transport and there is a ‘hop off and on’ component, making for an interesting alternative to exploring the city. We have taken time to make the loft a comfortable and cosy space. Between the private guest area, and the main part of our house, there is a hallway that has been securely divided by a full-length door and curtain.
