The space THE CABIN: This inviting 1,000 square foot A-Frame cabin, originally built in 1969, has been meticulously renovated and thoughtfully upgraded from tiptop to bottom utilizing quality finishes and mid-century modern decor - while remaining true to its mountain cabin heritage. THE VIEWS: Towering pine, cedar, fir, and oak trees surround the cabin, with scenic views from every window - including a dramatic 25-foot east-facing glass wall. Seasonal creeks, when running, are visible from most windows within the cabin. Please note that area creeks are often dry except during recent snowfall or rain. Full bathroom with tub/shower combo, fresh towels, and quality bath products. SECOND FLOOR LAYOUT: Spacious loft style open area with soaring wood beam ceilings features a king size shou sugi ban (fire-torched) log bed, memory foam mattress, quality linens, private half bath, 55" Smart TV (cable + streaming), dresser, clothing rack, writing desk, and swinging egg chair. Upper bedroom is open to the extended loft area which includes a full-size futon, extra seating, and a foosball coffee table. Loft area is open to the level below. DECK, BALCONY, AND YARD: Large 300+ square foot elevated wood deck (surrounded by towering trees) with comfortable seating, a gas grill, and a gas fire pit table. 4-person cedar barrel sauna with forest views to relax, de-stress, and detox. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cabin except for any storage cabinets marked 'Owner's Closet" and the walkout storage basement below the home. Laundry room use with washer and dryer is allowed for guests staying 7 nights or longer if requested prior to arrival. Other things to note HOUSE RULES & IMPORTANT INFORMATION MINIMUM AGE TO BOOK: Must be 25 years or older to instant book. QUIET COMMUNITY: Running Springs is peaceful and family-friendly. Parties, loud noise, and disruptive behavior are not allowed. Quiet hours are 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM, however talking and music can never be at a level disturbing to others. OCCUPANCY: Maximum 5 guests included. A 6th guest may be approved in advance for a $50 per night fee. All guests, including infants and children, count toward occupancy. No unregistered visitors or guest swaps allowed. Upon booking, a guest form with list of names and approximate ages for all guests will be required. Violation will result in a fine of $200 per person per day with immediate removal and no refund of stay. CHILDREN WELCOME: Please note the home is not child-proofed. Children must be supervised at all times, especially near stairs, the loft, and outdoors. A Pack 'n Play (Model #1927561) is available upon request. WILDLIFE: The cabin is located in a national forest with deer, coyotes, bears, mountain lions, and other wildlife. Do not feed animals or leave food outside. Trash bins must be fully secured after each use. PEST CONTROL & CLEANLINESS: Monthly pest control service is provided. Keep doors closed, screens latched, food sealed, and trash emptied daily. HEATING & COOLING: Central heating with Ecobee thermostat and ductless A/C upstairs ensures year-round comfort. ENTRY: The entry door is at the back of the cabin, accessible by 3 steps. A personal code for keyless entry will be provided before check-in. SECURITY: Two exterior-only cameras (front and rear) are in place for safety. No interior or interior-facing cameras. Please refer to site map on refrigerator upon arrival to stay within our property boundaries and not trespass on neighboring lots. FIREPLACE AND FIRE SAFETY: The fireplace is for gas use only. Do not burn wood or any other materials. Exterior grill and fire pit are gas only. No burning of solid fuel (wood, charcoal, etc.) allowed anywhere per county regulation. A $250 fine with immediate removal and no refund of stay will apply. SAUNA: The 4-person cedar sauna is available from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Green sauna towels are provided (located in the downstairs bedroom closet). Children are not allowed in the sauna. SMOKING, VAPING, & DRUGS: Not allowed anywhere on premises.
