One of London's historic buildings reinvented. Previously home to the Crown Attorney of London in the 1900's, this apartment has been fully renovated and upgraded. Steps to downtown (pedestrian bridge at the end of the street). This is the perfect place if you'd like to be close to downtown but not immediately downtown. The space This is a converted multiplex. A historic home from the 1900's was extended and converted into separate apartments. There are 9 units total on the property. Your entire unit is separate including a separate entrance (foyer entrance shared for unit 1&2), 1-car designated parking spot, a full washroom, full living space with kitchen and laundry. Outdoor spaces are shared. Rare 10 foot ceilings! As this is an older building with inner brick walls they are limited to one electrical outlet in each bedroom. We added a console table in bedroom #2 which allows for more outlets/usb charging station. Wifi is provided to the entire unit. The modem and ethernet cord is in the living room. The master bedroom includes an open closet storage. The second bedroom includes an enclosed closet space. Heating/cooling is centralized and shared between the front 5 units. A smart sensor is in each unit to sense and balance the temperatures. The host can control the main temperature so please let them know if you are too hot or too cold and they will adjust accordingly. Your unit also has a living room fireplace for an additional heat source. Guest access At the front of the driveway you will see a designated parking spot labelled "1". Through the front door facing the road you will enter a door to the main foyer to units 1 and 2 (using keypad code). Access unit "1" from the front foyer on the left. Keypad entry. Other things to note The yard is open (partially fenced-in) with plenty of green space. While furry friends are welcome, we ask that you take your dog for a walk as other guests also use the outdoor spaces. Both monthly guests and long-term tenants stay on-site.
